Wasserman reaction

Wasserman reaction (A. Wassermann, the German immunologist, 1866-1925) – the way of serodiagnosis of syphilis which is based on feature of blood serum of patients with syphilis to create the combination absorbing a complement (a difficult proteinaceous complex) with the corresponding antigen; is a kind of reaction of binding complement.
