Wegener granulomatosis

Wegener granulomatosis (F. Wegener, German pathologist, 1907-1990; synonyms: the granulomatosis is noninfectious necrotic, the granuloma malignant) – the disease of not clear, possibly toksiko-allergic etiology close to collagenoses at which granulematozny process with scarring and a necrosis of mucous membranes of upper respiratory tracts is noted, is more rare – a gullet, a throat and lungs, and also a destructive and proliferative vasculitis of a type of a nodular periarteritis; in the prevailing majority it is noted at the age of 20-50 years.
