Verdohaemoglobin

Verdohaemoglobin (Old French verde – green + Greek haima – blood + lat. globus – a sphere; synonyms: choleglobin, verdohemoglobin) – the product resulting from enzymic oxidation of a nonprotein component of hemoglobin, forming in cells of system of macrophages; predecessor of biliverdin.
