Division spindle

Spindle of division (fusus divisionis) – dynamic cellular structure through which there is a uniform discrepancy of chromosomes during meiosis or a mitosis; the spindle of division is formed in a pro-phase and includes in structure the central threads connecting both poles of a cell, and the chromosome threads connecting poles to chromosomes.
