Vernike pseudodementia

Vernike a pseudodementia (To. Wernicke, German psychiatrist and neuropathologist, 1848-1905; pseudodementia, Greek pseudos – a lie, fiction + lat. dementia – madness, madness; synonym: a pseudodementia) – the mental disorder which is shown ridiculous, wrong actions and answers (mimogovoreniye), gross blunders at the solution of the elementary tasks, the seeming loss of elementary knowledge and orientations against the background of lack of the expressed stupefaction (for example, at reactive psychoses, at hysteria).
