Vintrikh phenomenon

Vintrikh phenomenon (A. Wintrich, 1812-1882, German doctor; Greek phainomenon – being) – the increase in height and strengthening of sonority of tympanic percussion tone over the cavity filled with air in lungs appearing when opening by the patient of a mouth and protrusion of language.
