Vishnevsky-Connors operation

Vishnevsky-Connors operation (A. V. Vishnevsky, Soviet surgeon, 1874-1948; J. F. Connors, the American surgeon, 1873-1935) – the surgery applied at a pleura empyema at which carry out broad opening of a residual pleural cavity with an oily-balsamic tamponade of a cavity and a resection of several edges.
