Volkova-Oganesyan pivotally-distraktsionnye devices (M. V. Volkov, Soviet traumatologist-orthopedist, 1923-2003; O. V. Oganesyan, the Soviet traumatologist-orthopedist, 1933-2010) – the orthoses intended for dynamic unloading of a joint with preservation of continuous distraction (pulling) of the joint ends, and also for implementation of active and passive movements in the unloaded joint; represent rigid frame designs which are fixed on the spokes which are carried out through the joint ends of the corresponding bones and are equipped with sliding distractors with the hinges allowing to reproduce the movements in a joint.
