Vulpiusa tenotome (O. of Vulpius, German orthopedist, 1867-1936; Greek tenun – a sinew + Greek tomz – a section, a section) – the surgical instrument intended for a section of sinews at which the edge represents continuation of a thin and long neck for more convenient use of the tool in the depth of a wound.
