Loss

  1. Loss (prolapsus) – a vykhozhdeniye of internal body or one of its parts through a wound or a natural foramen on a body surface;
  2. Loss in genetics – the mutation differing in loss of one nucleotide from the sequence of the nucleotides which are contained in DNA chain;
  3. Loss [imperfectio, LNE (The Leningrad embryological nomenclature)] in embryology – disturbance of embryonic development at which there is no process happening normal; is one of the reasons of anomalies of development.
