Urolesanum

Urolesanum – the combined spasmolytic drug of a plant origin.

Urolesanum analogs on pharmacological group are Urokhol, Urokholum, Enuran, Arfazetin, Blemarenum, Kanefron of N, Halidorum, Phytolysinum, Rovatinexum. Structural analogs of Urolesanum on active ingredient are not made.

Structure and form of release

Drug is produced in the following forms:

• in the form of capsules (tablets);

One capsule of medicine contains 10,7 mg of dense extract of Urolesanum. Structure of the dry rest: 6,33 mg of cones of hop, 1,84 mg of fruits of carrots of wild, 1,46 mg of a grass of a marjoram. Besides, 7,46 mg of oil of a peppermint and 25,5 mg of oil of a fir are a part of drug.

Additional components: talc, monohydrate, magnesium carbonate heavy, magnesium алюмометасиликат; dinatrium эдетат, lactose, potato starch.

• in the form of drops;

Structure of drops: 8 g / 100 ml of fir oil, 2 g / 100 ml of oil of a peppermint, 11 g / 100 ml of castor oil, 23 g / 100 ml of extract of fruits of carrots of wild, 32,995 g / 100 ml of extract of cones of hop, 23 g / 100 ml of extract of a marjoram ordinary. Drops contain 60% of alcohol.

• in the form of syrup.

100 g of syrup contain 4,3 g of Urolesanum. Other components: the twin-80, the sorbic acid, citric acid, water purified syrup sugar.

Pharmacological action of Urolesanum

According to the instruction Urolesanum renders diuretic, antioxidant, antibacterial, spasmolytic, cholagogue and diuretic action. Drug is very quickly soaked up and, judging by reviews of Urolesanum, instantly removes attacks of hepatic and renal gripes, strengthening at the same time blood supply of spazmirovanny bodies. Medicine, having soft sedative effect, promotes removal of stones and sand from biliary and urinary tract, increases release of chlorides and urea. Urolesanum normalizes a tone of muscles of a gall bladder and uric ways. Components of medicine create protective colloid in urine, changing it to pH in the acid party.

There are reviews of Urolesanum as the drug rendering the revitalizing effect at treatment of diseases of a respiratory organs (obstructive bronchitis, bronchial asthma).

Action of Urolesanum begins half an hour later after reception and about five hours remain, reaching the maximum effect in one-two hours. Medicine with kidneys and through a digestive tract is allocated.

Indications to use of Urolesanum

According to the instruction there are following indications to use of Urolesanum and analogs of Urolesanum:

• acute and persistent infections of kidneys and urinary tract (pyelonephritis, cystitis);
• dyskinesia of bilious ways;
• chronic cholecystitis;
• cholelithiasis;
• chronic prostatitis (as a part of complex treatment);
• treatment and prevention of an urolithiasis and urate diathesis.

This medicine can be applied to prevention and treatment of infections of urinary tract at pregnant women. Use of drug will allow to reduce risk of development of the complications connected with an infection in a puerperal period.

Contraindications to use of Urolesanum

• hypersensitivity to any of drug components;
• children's age up to seven years (except syrup);
• peptic ulcer of a duodenum and stomach;
• diarrhea, nausea, heartburn;
• gastritis;
• diabetes mellitus;
• diameter of stones is more than 3 mm.

The instruction to use

According to the instruction Urolesanum should be accepted inside to food.

Medicine in the form of drops is recommended to be taken three times a day. Adults 8-10 (15-20 at renal and hepatic colic) a thaw of drug should drip on sugar. Duration of treatment for five days about one month. If necessary the course of treatment is repeated. A single dose for children from 7 to 14 years: on 5-6 drops of medicine three times a day (on sugar).

According to the instruction Urolesanum in the form of syrup the adult is recommended to accept on a teaspoon three times a day. At renal and hepatic colic the single dose should be raised to two spoons once. Duration of treatment for five days about one month. The single dose of drug to children from a year to two years makes 1-2 ml, from two to seven years – 2-4 ml, from 7 to 14 years – 4-5 ml three times a day.

Children after 14 years and the adult should accept Urolesanum in capsules on one capsule three times a day. At renal or hepatic colic the single dose should be raised to two capsules once. A course of treatment from five days to one month.

Side effects

Judging by reviews of Urolesanum, drug is in most cases transferred well. In some cases at use of medicine allergic reactions (an itch, a Quincke's disease, skin rashes), vomiting, the general weakness, dizziness, nausea, hypotension are possible.

At emergence of side effects plentiful drink, reception of absorbent carbon or Atropini sulfas is recommended.
