Application instruction:
Vaseline – the drug possessing dermatoprotektivny action.
Form of release and structure
Vaseline is produced in the form of ointment for external use (in tubas and banks on 20, 25 and 30 mg).
Active agent of drug is soft paraffin white (vaseline).
Indications to use
Vaseline is applied on purpose:
- Mitigation of skin, including after negative impact of environmental factors (temperature drops, wind, the sun);
- Protection of a wound surface at injuries of skin;
- Simplification of holding medical procedures (at introduction of a colonic tube or tip of an enema to a rectum, before statement of cans).
Contraindications
Use of drug is contraindicated at hypersensitivity to active agent.
Route of administration and dosage
Drug is used for external use. It is recommended to apply ointment on previously cleared skin in a small amount, slightly rubbing. It is allowed uses of Vaseline for applications.
After putting drug it is necessary to wash up with hand soap. It is recommended to avoid hit of funds for mucous membranes and in eyes.
Side effects
At prolonged use of Vaseline emergence of allergic reactions and irritation of skin in a drug site of application is possible.
