Water dill – means for treatment of gastrointestinal diseases on a vegetable basis.
Pharmacological action
Water dill is produced on the basis of essential oil of fennel of pharmaceutical (fennel) or fennel garden and the purified water.
Means removes an intestines muscles spasm, thereby allowing the collected gases to come to light. Dill water for newborns at whom the meteorism for 4-6 first months of life is pronounced is especially effective.
Also this water has antimicrobic property, promotes digestion process improvement.
Release form
Make means in bottles of 100 ml. Ratio of components: one part of essential oil on 1000 parts of the purified water.
Water dill can be prepared in house conditions for what take a teaspoon of a seed of fennel or 2-3gr. the crushed fennel fruits to make a glass of boiled water, one hour to allow to infuse. Later it is only necessary to filter through a gauze and the received pure broth to add to food to the newborn. It is also noted that from house means water on the basis of fennel fruits is more effective – it affects the child's organism quicker.
According to the instruction water dill is made in sterile conditions that is especially important in view of treatment by means of newborn children with unstable digestion.
As it is almost impossible to provide full sterility in house conditions, it is possible to use analogs of water dill, released by pharmaceutical industry is the drug "Planteks" which is also made of fruits of fennel, Espumizan, "Sab-Simpleks".
Indications to use
Apply water dill to newborns for improvement of functionality of intestines, reduction of a meteorism and disposal of painful gripes of a stomach.
Application instruction of dill water and dosage
According to the instruction water dill is given to children 3-6 р / day.
Dosage of dill water – 1 tablespoon in one step.
For newborns dill water is mixed with the breast decanted milk or mix for feeding.
Dill water for newborns is appointed after 2kh week age.
The possibility of use of analogs of dill water, dosage need to be discussed with the pediatrician at whom the child is observed.
Side effects
There are no data on emergence of side effects after use of means.
Contraindications
Contraindications at use of dill water for newborns are not revealed.
