General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 ampoule contains the extract of a prostate of bulls lyophilized from aqueous solution, received by extraction, 10 mg;

excipients: glycine.

Main physical and chemical properties: amorphous powder or porous mass of color, white or white with a yellowish shade.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Prostatilen possesses specific organotropic action on a prostate. At diseases of the last drug as means of pathogenetic therapy, normalizes processes of microcirculation and a platelet and vascular hemostasis, reduces and eliminates fabric hypostases, leukocytic infiltration (including, lowers the maintenance of leukocytes in gland secret), shows the mediated bacteriostatic influence on secret microflora, reduces a caption of the revealed activator up to absolute sterility or life activity of microorganisms oppresses. Prostatilen normalizes a spermatogenesis (increases quantity and mobility of spermatozoa), exerts the modulating impact on a condition of T - and V-lymphocytes, regulates a tone of muscles of a bladder, including a detruzor tone, increases nonspecific resistance of an organism.

Pharmacokinetics. As peptide drug, простатилен is split by cellular proteases to amino acids. Prostatilen and his metabolites are excreted with urine. Drug has no cumulative action.

Indications to use:

Chronic prostatitis, prostate adenoma, age disturbances of its functions and the frustration of the act of an urination, complication connected with it after prostate gland operations; at interoceptive copulative dysfunction, male futility.

Route of administration and doses:

Apply to treatment of adults, including advanced age, men. Enter intramusculary. Before use contents of an ampoule are dissolved in 1–2 ml of water for injections or isotonic solution of sodium of chloride, or by 0,5% of solution of novocaine. The drug is administered daily, by 1–2 ampoules once a day. The course of treatment makes 5–10 days. If necessary conduct a repeated course (in 1 - 6 months)

Features of use:

At novocaine use as solvent it is necessary to carry out an allergy test. At treatment drug recommends to carry out the analysis of clinical indications of activity of a prostate (prostatospetsifichny antigen).
