General characteristics. Structure:

Suppository contains a bufeksamak of 0,25 g, bismuth of subgallate of 0,1 g, lidocaine
hydrochloride of 0,01 g; excipients.

Pharmacological properties:

Anti-inflammatory, analgetic, wound healing drug for topical treatment of inflammatory diseases of anorectal area. Bufeksamak has the antiinflammatory effect caused by inhibition of synthesis of prostaglandins. Bismuth subgallate has the knitting and drying effect, promotes healing of wounds. Lidocaine has mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect, blocking generation and carrying out nervous impulse.

Indications to use:

Hemorrhoids 1 - the 2nd severity, an anal fissure, acute and chronic eczema of an anus, inflammatory processes in a rectum (including a proctitis).

Route of administration and doses:

The adult appoint on 1 suppository 2 times a day, it is desirable after bowel emptying. After improvement of a state - on 1 suppository a day.
Duration of treatment is established individually. Continuation of use of drug within 8-10 days after stopping of an acute phase of a disease is recommended.

Features of use:

Drug use is not recommended long (more than 14 days). In need of long treatment it is necessary to use the drugs which are not containing local anesthetic.

Side effects:

Local allergic reactions in perianal area: burning, itch, hypostasis, reddening and peeling of skin.

Interaction with other medicines:

Now interaction of drug with other medicines is not revealed.

Contraindications:

Specific inflammatory processes (including syphilis, tuberculosis), age up to 18 years, pregnancy, a lactation, hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

At exceeding of the recommended doses strengthening of the symptoms described in the section "Side effect" is possible.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

To store in the dry, protected from light place at a temperature of 8 - 15 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Period of validity - 3 years.
