General characteristics. Structure:
International and chemical names: тиотриазолин; морфолиний-5-метил-1,2,4-триазолин-5-тиоацетат;Основные physical and chemical properties: suppositories of color, white or white with a cream shade, cigar-shaped form. Existence of a plaque on the surface of suppository is allowed. Structure: one suppository contains a tiotriazolin of 0,2 g; excipient: fat firm.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. The pharmacological effect of drug is caused antiischemic, membrane stabilizing and antioxidant by actions. Tiotriazolin prevents destruction of hepatocytes, reduces extent of fatty infiltration and distribution of centrolobular necroses of a liver, promotes processes of reparative regeneration of hepatocytes, normalizes in them proteinaceous, carbohydrate, lipidic and pigmental exchanges. Increases the speed of synthesis and biliation, normalizes its chemical composition. Tiotriazolin has hepatoprotective effect at hepatitises and cirrhoses of a liver of various etiology that causes use of this drug at complex therapy.
At rectal and vaginal administration тиотриазолин works locally at contact with mucous membranes of a rectum and urinogenital bodies of women at vaginal use, having antiinflammatory effect, accelerates healing of wounds and ulcers of mucous membranes of urinogenital system. At absorption and manifestation of resorptive effect it has similar effect in relation to a mucous membrane of digestive tract.
Drug accelerates healing of wounds of skin, mucous membranes of urinogenital system and digestive tract.
Pharmacokinetics. At rectal administration biological availability of drug makes 60%. In considerable concentration drug collects in tissues of a liver, spleen, rectum and kidneys, in insignificant quantity – in lungs і to a small bowel. Except manifestation of local effects, it is quickly enough soaked up by mucous membranes and its maximum concentration in a blood plasma is registered in 1,5 h. The elimination half-life of drug makes 2,9 h Tiotriazolin is brought preferential by kidneys.
Indications to use:
Inflammatory and erosive damages of a mucous membrane of direct and sigmoid guts, cracks and erosion in an anus and a rectum.
Inflammatory and erosive damages of a vagina and neck of uterus, virus and atrophic colpitises, and also for acceleration of an epitalization at disturbance of integrity of a mucous membrane after diatermo-and a cryogene therapy, after surgical interventions.
Liver diseases, in particular chronic persistent hepatitis, chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis, viral and toxic hepatitis (as a part of complex therapy).
Route of administration and doses:
Drug is appointed the adult.
At acute and chronic hepatitises, cirrhosis appoint rektalno on 1 suppository 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) within 2-4 weeks.
At inflammatory processes of direct, sigmoid guts appoint rektalno on 1 suppository 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) within 1-2 weeks.
At inflammatory and erosive damages of a vagina and neck of uterus appoint vaginalno on 1 suppository a day (better in the evening) within 1-2 weeks or on 1 suppository 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) within 7-10 days.
Features of use:
It is necessary to enter suppository in lying situation.
Due to the limited experience of use of drug for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children, drug is not recommended to be used to these categories of patients. In case of need uses of this drug it is necessary to consider a ratio risk/advantage.
There are no special recommendations concerning use of drug during driving by transport and work with difficult mechanisms.
Side effects:
At use of drug such disturbances are possible:
from a respiratory organs otdyshka, suffocation;
from a digestive tract nausea, vomiting, dryness in a mouth, abdominal distention;
cardiovascular rasstroystva:arterialny hypertensia, pain in heart, disturbances of a sinoatrial rate, tachycardia.
Interaction with other medicines:
It is not investigated.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug components. Renal failure.
Overdose:
At overdose in urine increase in concentration of sodium and potassium is possible. After reduction of a dose of drug by-effects are eliminated independently, without special treatment.
Storage conditions:
To store in protected from light and the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from +8 °C to +15 °C. A period of validity – 3 years.
