General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 135 mg of liquid water extract (1:10) of mix of vegetable raw materials that corresponds to the content of dry matter of 62 mg, including 17 mg of extract of roots of capers of prickly, 17 mg of extract of seeds of chicory of ordinary, 8 mg of extract of a nightshade of black, 8 mg of extract of bark of a bombway of an arzhun, 4 mg of extract of seeds of a cassia of the western, 4 mg of extract of a grass of a yarrow of ordinary, 4 mg of extract of a tamarisk Gallic.

Processed over steam of water extract (1:10) of mix of the medicinal raw materials (taken in equal quantities on 0.64 mg): eklipta white, filantusa of a nirura, roots of a berkhaviya sprawling, stalks tinospor serdtselistny, seeds of a radish of a sowing campaign, fruits of an emblika medicinal, roots of a svinchatka Ceylon, fruits of an embelia currant, peel of fruits of a bombway of a hebul, fumitory medicinal.

Excipients: sucrose, sodium citrate, sodium methylparaben, sodium propylparaben, fragrance peach (abrak S168), fragrance peach No. 1, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined vegetable drug. Renders hepatoprotective, anti-toxic, antiinflammatory, cholagogue, antioxidant, anti-anorectic action. Promotes improvement of process of digestion and digestion of food.

Hepatoprotective action of Liv. 52 it is caused by antioxidant and membrane stabilizing properties of the components which are its part. Drug increases the level of endogenous tokoferol in hepatocytes and P450 cytochrome level. Liv. 52 stimulates biosynthesis of proteins and phospholipids. Promotes recovery of hepatocytes, reduces degenerative, fatty and fibrous changes, strengthens intracellular exchange.

Drug regulates the level of plasma blood proteins, normalizing a ratio albumine/globulin. Provides normalization of level of plasma transaminases, cholesterol, triglycerides, reducing manifestations of a dislipidemiya. Reduces indicators of bilirubin and an alkaline phosphatase. Increases ability of a liver to deposition of a glycogen.

Improves colloid properties of bile, prevents formation of gallstones. Improves sokratitelny function of a gall bladder.

Stimulates a hemogenesis.

At alcoholic damage of a liver drug reduces ethanol level in blood and urine; increases activity of an atsetaldegiddegidrogenaza that promotes decrease in level of acetic aldehyde; prevents linkng of acetic aldehyde with proteins of a cell, accelerates its removal. Preventing the damaging effect of acetic aldehyde on hepatocytes, drug reduces risk of development of a "hungover" syndrome.

Pharmacokinetics. Therapeutic effect of Liv. 52 it is caused by cumulative action of its components therefore carrying out kinetic observations is not possible.

Indications to use:

— acute and chronic infectious, toxic and medicinal hepatitises;

— cirrhosis at adults;

— fatty hepatosis;

— anorexia;

— prevention of the toxic damages of a liver (caused by antibiotics, antitubercular drugs, antipyretics).

Route of administration and doses:

With the preventive purpose drug appoint on 2 таб. 2 times/days.

With the medical purpose to children 6 years are more senior appoint on 1-2 таб. 2-3 times/days, adult - 2-3 таб. 2-3 times/days.

Drug in the form of drops is appointed with the medical and preventive purpose to children 2 years are more senior till 10-20 than drops of 2 times/days, adult - on 80-160 drops (1-2 teaspoons) of 2 times/days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is contraindicated to use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation.

Use for children. With the medical purpose to children 6 years are more senior appoint on 1-2 таб. 2-3 times/days.

Drug in the form of drops is appointed with the medical and preventive purpose to children 2 years are more senior till 10-20 than drops of 2 times/days

Special instructions. With care patients should appoint drug with acute gastrointestinal diseases.

Liv. 52 K (a dosage form - drops) alcohol does not contain and it can be applied at children with diseases of a liver and biliary tract.

Side effects:

Perhaps: allergic reactions, dyspepsia.

Interaction with other medicines:

Medicinal interaction of the drug Liv.52 is not described.

Contraindications:

— hypersensitivity to drug components;

— pregnancy;

— lactation.

Overdose:

Data on overdose of the drug Liv.52 are absent.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the dry place at a temperature from 10 °C to 30 °C. A period of validity - 3 years.
