General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: 
Povidone-iodine of 4,250 g and cordianine of 0,050 g in 50 ml of solution. Povidone-iodine of 8,500 g and cordianine of 0,100 g in 100 ml of solution.

Excipients: 
left menthol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate a dihydrate, ethanol of 96%, propylene glycol, the water purified - up to the necessary volume of drug in packaging.

Description
The transparent or poorly opalescent liquid of red-brown color beyond all bounds mixed with water.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug for topical administration at diseases of an oral cavity and the ENT SPECIALIST - bodies. At contact with skin or mucous membranes emits iodine; has antiseptic and antiinflammatory action.
Drug possesses a wide range of antimicrobic action.
It is active concerning bacteria, mushrooms, viruses, the elementary.

Indications to use:

1. Infectious and inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat: including quinsies, tonsillitis, tonzilofaringita, glossites, stomatitises, afta;
2. For processing of an oral cavity and a throat at surgical interventions on airways and an oral cavity and in the postoperative period;
3. For the treatment of infections of an oral cavity and a throat arising at chemotherapy;
4. At streptococcal quinsies it is applied as an additional tool at treatment by antibiotics.

Route of administration and doses:

Locally.
To dilute solution of drug with water in the ratio 1:20 - 1:40 (i.e. from 2,5 ml to 5 ml by means of the measured cap enclosed in packaging or 1/2 - 1 teaspoon in 100 ml of water). Divorced solution to rinse an oral cavity or throats.
It is recommended to use the drug Yoks® solution 2-4 times a day, in case of need drug can be used and about 6 once a day are more frequent. Minimum intervals between rinsings of 4 hours.

Features of use:

It is not intended for intake.
It is not necessary to inhale or swallow drug.
Drug contains about 19% of ethanol.

Side effects:

The drug Yoks® solution is usually transferred well.
Hypersensitivity reactions to drug and manifestation of allergic reaction to iodine (an itch, a hyperemia) are in some cases possible that demands drug withdrawal.
Prolonged use of drug can cause the iodism phenomenon (including metal taste, the increased hypersalivation, hypostases of eyes or a throat) at which emergence it is necessary to stop use of drug and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use of the drug Yoks® with other antiseptic agents intended for topical administration in the oral cavities and throats which are especially containing hydrogen peroxide in connection with a drug inactivation is not recommended.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to iodine and other components of drug;
• pregnancy and period of feeding by a breast;
• children up to 6 years;
• dysfunction of a thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism);
• heart failure; herpetiform dermatitis of Dyuringa;
• simultaneous use of a radioiodine.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 10 °C to 25 °C in the place protected from light. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity of 5 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging!

Solution for topical administration.
On 50 and 100 ml in bottles of dark glass with the screw-on propylene cover with control of the first opening and a measured cap. Each bottle together with the application instruction is placed in a cardboard pack.
