General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: cynara scolymus; artichoke extract;
1 capsule contains an artichoke extract dense (7,5:1) of a fresh grass in terms of dry matter of 300 mg;
excipients: cellulose microcrystallic, silicon dioxide colloid, anhydrous, calcium stearate, polysorbate 80. Physical and chemical properties: solid gelatin capsules with a lid and the case from orange-brown till brown color. Contents of capsules - small granulated powder from light brown with a gray shade till the color, dark brown with a gray shade. Availability of powder and units of particles of powder is allowed.

Pharmacological properties:

Means of a plant origin; contains extract of leaves of an artichoke. Possesses cholagogue, hepatoprotective, diuretic action.
The pharmacological effect is caused by a complex of biologically active agents which are a part of drug – Cinorinum, chlorogenic acid, ascorbic acid, carotene, vitamins of group B, inulin. The main active ingredient of drug – Cinorinum – possesses, generally holeretichesky action. Holekinetichesky action is expressed to a lesser extent. Ascorbic acid, carotene, vitamins of group B and inulin improve exchange processes.
Drug stimulates bile secretion, reduces cholesterol level in blood, stimulates regeneration of hepatocytes; has diuretic and hypolipidemic effect. Reduces feeling of overflow or stretching of a stomach, eliminates a spasm.
Promotes allocation from an organism of urea, creatinine, and also toxins (including nitro compounds, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals).

Indications to use:

Dyskinesia of bilious ways on hypotonic and hypokinetic type, chronic not calculous cholecystitis, chronic hepatitis of a different etiology, a chronic renal failure, chronic intoxications (hepatotoxic substances, nitro compounds, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals), dispepsichesky frustration (weight in epigastriums, a meteorism, nausea, an eructation).

Route of administration and doses:

Appoint to adults and children 12 years on 1 capsule 3 times a day, in 15–30 min. prior to food are more senior.
Duration of a course of treatment makes 2–4 weeks. Treatment can be repeated after a break in 1–2 months.
The doctor establishes a dose and duration of use individually depending on disease severity!

During treatment it is necessary to abstain from alcohol intake.

Side effects:

At long use of drug in high doses development of diarrhea, pain in an upper part of a stomach, nausea and heartburn, allergic reactions is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

If you accept any other medicines, surely consult with the doctor about a possibility of use of drug!
Drug can weaken effect of anticoagulants like coumarin (a fenprokumon, warfarin) that demands dose adjustment of the last. At simultaneous use of drug with hypoazotemic and gipokholesterinemichesky means strengthening of hypoazotemic and gipokholesterinemichesky effects is possible.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components; impassability of bilious ways, zhelchekamenny disease. Acute hepatitises, liver failure. Children's age up to 12 years (for this dosage form of drug).

Overdose:

Information on cases of overdose is absent. Aggravation of side effects is possible.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, gastric lavage. Therapy is symptomatic. The specific antidote is absent.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place, unavailable to children, in original packaging at a temperature not over 25 to the °sena to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging!
