Antral

General characteristics. Structure:

Acting veshchestvo:1 a tablet contains антраля in terms of dry matter 100 mg (0,1 g) or 200 mg (0,2 g);

excipients: magnesium carbonate heavy, potato starch, кросповидон, cellulose microcrystallic, povidone, polysorbate, silicon dioxide colloid anhydrous, calcium stearate, Opadry II 85 G18490 white, Opadry II 85 G25557 red.

Pharmacological properties:

Antral treats group of hepatoprotective drugs. It is effective in treatment of acute and chronic hepatitises of various genesis, liver cirrhoses, promotes reduction of astenovegetativny disturbances, improves appetite, a dream, reduces the dispepsichesky phenomena. At course use drug normalizes the content of bilirubin, γ-globulins, cholesterol in blood, a prothrombin ratio, activity of transaminases (ALAT and ASAT) and an alkaline phosphatase. The antiinflammatory, anesthetizing actions prolonged are inherent in Antral. By results of preclinical trials it is established that Antral in the conditions of acute, subacute and chronic injuries of a liver by various xenobiotics and their combinations promotes alleviation of the consequences of influence of hepatotoxins, activation of reparative processes in hepatocytes and practical normalization of indicators of a structurally functional condition of a liver. Drug inhibits processes of peroxide oxidation of lipids in blood and fabrics, maintains activity of antioxidant systems of an organism, causes stabilization of structure of a liver and membranes of hepatocytes. Being rather harmless pharmacological means, Antral does not break function of bodies and systems of an organism, it has no cumulative properties, immunotoxic, local irritative, allergenic, ulcerogenic, embriotoksichesky, teratogenic action.

The maximum accumulation of drug in blood is noted in 3-4 hours, an elimination half-life – 4-5 hours. Drug is removed with urine and a stake.

Indications to use:

Antral is shown to adults and children for treatment: acute and chronic hepatitises of various etiology (virus, alcoholic, medicamentous, toxic); fatty dystrophy and cirrhoses of a liver; inflammatory diseases of a gall bladder, spleen, pancreas; a postcholecystectomy syndrome (after removal of a gall bladder). For prevention of diseases of a liver owing to negative impact of toxins of various etiology: alimentary toxins, medicines, chemotherapy, radiation therapy.

Route of administration and doses:

Antral appoint inside after food 3 times a day:

– to adults and children 10 years – on 200 mg on reception are more senior; at cirrhosis: in the first week of treatment – on 400 mg on reception, then 2-3 weeks – on 200 mg on reception;

– children are 4-10 years old (including at cirrhosis) – on 100 mg on reception.

Duration of treatment depends on character and weight of a disease. The average course of treatment makes 3-4 weeks. The course of treatment should be repeated in 3-4 weeks.

Features of use:

Antral in 20-30 minutes after food, with enough water or milk is recommended to accept.
Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.

Due to the limited experience of use it is not recommended to appoint drug during pregnancy or feeding a breast.
Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms.

There are no data on influence, however drivers and operators of difficult mechanisms should consider probability of development of dizziness.
Children.

Drug is not used to children up to 4 years.

Side effects:

Drug generally is well transferred by patients. In isolated cases at Antral's use weakness, dizziness, the dispepsichesky phenomena, nausea, an abdominal pain, diarrhea which pass after drug withdrawal are possible.

Allergic reactions, including skin rashes, urticaria, Quincke's disease, reddening and itch of skin.

Interaction with other medicines:

Antral is well compatible to antibacterial, detoksitsiruyushchy, cholagogue, vitamin drugs that allows to include him in complexes of medical therapy. At simultaneous use to patients with cirrhosis Antral does not influence activity of steroid and cytostatic drugs; reduction (to 50-70%) earlier used dose of steroids without further decrease in efficiency of treatment is allowed.

Contraindications:

Individual hypersensitivity to drug components.

Disturbance of a secretory funtion of kidneys.

Overdose:

At overdose emergence and strengthening of side reactions is possible.

At the accidental use of high doses of drug it is necessary to wash out a stomach and (in case of need) to carry out a symptomatic treatment.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. Not to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging. To store in the place protected from light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
