General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 100 mg of a trimebutin of a maleate.

Excipients: monohydrate of lactose, the modified starch, microcrystallic cellulose, magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Medicine of Tribuks contains тримебутин which stimulates motility of intestines. Trimebutin acts by connection with opioid receptors of m, d and k. The mechanism of action consists in immediate effect on unstriated muscles of digestive tract and regulation of disorders of motor function, without influencing the central nervous system. Trimebutin, unlike other opioids, such as morphine or codeine, does not show selectivity on the relation to one of three types of opioid receptors thanks to what he is characterized both by exciting action, and braking a digestive tract peristaltics. Process of normalization of motor activity begins in 30 minutes after taking the medicine.

Indications to use:

- the disorders of motility of digestive tract defined as a syndrome of the angry gut
- functional disorders of digestive tract: diarrhea, locks, stomach pains, spastic conditions of intestines
- gastroesophagal reflux.

Route of administration and doses:

Adults: 100 mg of a trimebutin of a maleate (1 tablet) 3 times a day. In exceptional cases the dose can be increased to 6 tablets on 100 mg a day in the divided doses. Children: a maleate children can accept a trimebutin 12 years in the dose which is not exceeding 6 mg/kg of body weight a day are more senior. It is necessary to swallow of tablets without chewing, washing down with a glass of boiled water. Medicine should be taken according to recommendations of the doctor. In case of doubts it is necessary to contact the doctor again.

 

Features of use:

Pregnancy: Before drug intake it is necessary to consult with the doctor.
Due to the lack of sufficient data on use of a trimebutin during pregnancy it is not recommended to accept drug of Tribuks in the first trimester of pregnancy. Medicine can be taken in II and the III trimester of pregnancy only in urgent cases. The researches conducted on animals did not show teratogenic, mutagen or embriotoksichny action of a trimebutin on a germ.

Feeding by a breast: Before use of medicine it is necessary to consult with the doctor. Due to the lack of the data concerning influence of a trimebutin on a lactation the feeding women can take medicine of Tribuks only in urgent cases.

Driving of vehicles and service of cars: The medicine of Tribuks taken according to the recommended dosage does not influence ability of driving of vehicles, service of cars and does not reduce psychophysical activity.

Side effects:

During drug intake of Tribuks in the recommended doses the following side effects seldom appear: From the alimentary system: dryness in a mouth, taste disturbance, diarrhea, a digestive disturbance, gastric pain, nausea, locks. From a nervous system: drowsiness, dizzinesses, headaches, feeling of heat/cold. Allergic reactions: skin rash. Very seldom appeared: frustration of periods, painful increase in a breast, concern, hearing easing, urination delay.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is necessary to report to the doctor about all medicine taken recently, even those which are given without recipe.

Zotepin accepted along with trimebutiny can increase anticholinergic action. Trimebutin prolongs effect of d-tubocurarine.

Contraindications:

Allergies on тримебутин or any other component of medicine.

Overdose:

In case of reception of a bigger dose of medicine:
The drug of Tribuks accepted in high doses (it is discordant with the recommended dosage) can lead to increase in side effects. In case of overdose of medicine the gastric lavage and a symptomatic treatment is recommended. In case of reception of a bigger dose of medicine, than recommended, it is necessary to see a doctor or the druggist immediately.

In case of the admission of a dose of medicine of Tribuks: It is necessary to accept as soon as possible the passed dose, further to adhere to a way of a dosage of medicine of Tribuks. It is not necessary to apply a double dose to completion of the passed dose.

Storage conditions:

Трибукс to store Medicine in the place, unavailable and imperceptible for children. To store medicine in the place protected from moisture at a temperature of 15 - 25 ºC.
