General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 34 mg of extract of capers of prickly, 34 mg of extract of chicory of ordinary, 16 mg of extract of a nightshade of black, 8 mg of extract of a cassia of the western, 16 mg of extract of a bombway of an arzhun, 8 mg of extract of a yarrow of ordinary, 8 mg of extract of a tamarisk Gallic.

Excipients: sugar, sodium methylparaben, sodium propylparaben, sodium citrate, essence pineapple.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined phytodrug. Has hepatoprotective and anti-toxic effect. Hepatoprotective action is caused by antioxidant and membrane stabilizing properties of the components which are a part of drug.

Anti-toxic action consists in protection of an endoplasmic reticulum of hepatocytes against a degeneration.

Drug normalizes and increases activity of microsomal enzymes of a liver, including isoenzymes of system of P450 cytochrome. Stimulates biosynthesis of proteins, cholesterol and phospholipids, promotes regeneration of cells of a liver. Reduces degenerative, fatty and fibrinous changes, strengthens intracellular exchange.

Лив-52® regulates the level of plasma blood proteins, normalizing a ratio albumine/globulin. Provides normalization of level of hepatic transaminases, bilirubin, ShchF, cholesterol, triglycerides, reducing manifestations of a dislipidemiya. Increases ability of a liver to deposition of a glycogen.

Improves colloid properties of bile, prevents formation of gallstones. Improves sokratitelny function of a gall bladder. Improves process of digestion and digestion of food.

Stimulates a hemogenesis.

Лив-52® reduces ethanol level in blood and urine: increases activity of an atsetaldegiddegidrogenaza, promoting decrease in level of acetic aldehyde, preventing linkng of acetic aldehyde with proteins and, thereby, accelerates its removal with urine.

Pharmacokinetics. According to the International convention (EMEAHMPWG11/99) when carrying out clinical tests of drugs of a plant origin the isolated research of pharmacokinetic parameters is not required.

Indications to use:

As a part of complex therapy:

— at acute (in the period of reconvalescence) and a chronic viral hepatitis;

— at anorexia and loss of body weight;

— for prevention of the toxic damages of a liver caused by antitubercular, antineoplastic, contraceptive, antibacterial, febrifugal drugs, chemicals and alcohol.

Route of administration and doses:

At an acute and chronic viral hepatitis. The adult drug is appointed on 3 teaspoons of 3-4 times/days.

To children aged from 1 year up to 3 years appoint 1/2 teaspoons of 2 times/days; aged from 3 up to 8 years - on 1 teaspoon of 2 times/days; aged from 8 up to 15 years - on 1.5-2 teaspoons of 2-3 times/days.

Duration of treatment of an acute viral hepatitis makes 1 month, chronic - 6 months.

At anorexia and loss of body weight. The adult appoint 2 teaspoons of 2-3 times/days.

To children appoint on 1 teaspoon of 2-3 times/days. Treatment duration - 1 month.

For prevention of toxic damages of a liver the recommended dose - 1 teaspoon of 3 times/days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Use of drug at pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Special instructions. Patients should appoint drug with care with acute diseases of a stomach and intestines.

Side effects:

Perhaps: allergic reactions, dispeptic symptoms.

Interaction with other medicines:

Medicinal interaction of drug is not described.

Contraindications:

— pregnancy;

— lactation period;

— hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

Prolonged use and repeatedly exceeded dose of drug do not render toxic effects.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the unavailable to children, dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C; not to freeze. A period of validity - 3 years.
