General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 160 mg of a ditsikloverin of a hydrochloride.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Notenzil is the antispasmodic, tertiary amine removing a spasm of smooth muscle muscles of digestive tract. Bradikinin - and a histamine - the induced spasm has specific anticholinergic (antimuskarinovy) effect on atsetilkholinovy receptors, and also direct spasmolytic action on smooth muscles of intestines (miotropnost) most of which likely is connected with biochemical processes, in particular, with antagonism.

Indications to use:

Notenzil – an antispasmodic which is shown first of all for treatment of the functional frustration connected with a spasm of smooth muscles of digestive tract. Adjuvant therapy at a syndrome of the angry gut, intestinal frustration of a neurogenic origin.

Route of administration and doses:

Adults and children are more senior than 12 years (1-2 mg on weight kg a day): 1-2 teaspoons (5 ml) of syrup 3 times a day before food.

Children from 2 to 12 years (0,5-1 mg on weight kg a day): 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup 3 times a day before food.

If syrup needs to be dissolved, it can be made, using syrup and enough boiled water just before reception.

Features of use:

At substantial increase of body temperature, fever Notenzil it is necessary to cancel since he reduces sweating that can lead to heatstroke. At patients with iliostomy or kolostomy diarrhea can be an early symptom of incomplete intestinal obstruction, in similar cases treatment by Notenzil is not shown.

In case of tachycardia the daily therapeutic dose should not exceed 40 mg. At adenoma of a prostate, a renal and liver failure the daily therapeutic dose should not exceed 40 mg and last no more than 2 weeks.

Side effects:

From cardiovascular system: tachycardia, disturbances of a rhythm.

From digestive tract: dryness in a mouth, nausea, vomiting, loss of flavoring feelings, appetite loss, locks.

From the central nervous system: headaches, dizziness, sleeplessness.

From organs of sight: mydriasis, decrease in visual acuity, increase in intraocular pressure.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use with amantadiny, strengthening of action of a ditsikloverin happens the antipsychotic drugs derivative of benzodiazepine, MAO inhibitors, opioid analgetika, nitrates and nitrites, sympathomimetics, tricyclic antidepressants, in m-holinoblokatorami, glucocorticosteroids. Notenzil strengthens effect of cardiac glycosides.

Contraindications:

Fever, intestinal impassability, acute ischuria, reflux an esophagitis, hypovolemic shock, closed-angle glaucoma, a myasthenia гравис, children under 2 years, the lactation period, hypersensitivity to drug components.

With care: Notenzil appoint at a hyper thyroidism, glaucoma, hernia of an esophageal opening of a diaphragm, stenocardia, a myocardial infarction, disturbances of a cordial rhythm, a hypertension as drug can cause tachycardia.

Overdose:

The daily therapeutic dose can make up to 1-2 mg on body weight kg.

Symptoms. In case of overdose there can be following phenomena: sleeplessness, excitement, hallucinogenic action, dysarthtia, loss of consciousness, respiratory collapse.
