Pantestin-Darnitsa, gel 15 and 30 of in tubas

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 1 g of gel of a soderzhat:dekspantenol – 50 mg, a miramistin (in terms of anhydrous substance) – 5 mg;

excipients: propylene glycol, polyethyleneglycol (a macrogoal 400), half-oxameasures (проксанол 268), cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Active agent of the drug Pantestin-Darnitsa® декспантенол is provitamin. When drawing on skin декспантенол gets into cells of an epithelium and it is transformed to pantothenic acid which is a component of a coenzyme And, the synthesis of plastic material which is taking part in processes. It leads to strengthening of processes of formation and regeneration of skin in the hardly healing, complicated wounds.

As the hardly healing wounds, as a rule, are complicated by a wound fever for the purpose of prevention and treatment of a wound fever, the cationic antiseptic agent – мирамистин which antimicrobic action supplements effect of a dekspantenol is entered into drug.

Dekspantenol from Pantestin-Darnitsa® gel practically does not come to a system blood stream. It is metabolized декспантенол in fabrics on site of drawing. Miramistin thanks to properties of polymeric substances of an ointment basis keeps on a wound surface and is not soaked up in a system blood stream.

Indications to use:

Pantestin-Darnitsa® gel is applied locally according to the following indications:

–  in surgery for treatment of wounds of various localization and genesis, including postoperative wounds, trophic ulcers and decubituses in a regeneration phase (the 2nd phase of a wound process);

–  in Combustiology for treatment of the granulating burn wounds, preparation them to an autodermoplastika and after plastic surgeries for improvement of engraftment of skin transplants; for treatment of sunblisters;

–  in radiation medicine for prevention of radiation injuries of mucous membranes, skin and surrounding fabrics, and also for treatment of beam ulcers in a regeneration phase;

–  for treatment of infections of skin, in particular, for the second time the infected eczemas and neurodermatitises;

–  at household traumatism for treatment of small grazes, cuts, scratches, burns and prevention of their infection;

–  in pediatrics at an intertrigo and a diaper dermatitis, prevention of their infection;

– in gynecology at treatment of erosion of a neck of uterus, erosive colpitises and injuries of a mucous membrane of a vagina.

Route of administration and doses:

Pantestin-Darnitsa® gel is applied locally. After standard processing of a wound surface gel is applied with a thin layer on a wound, then apply a sterile gauze bandage. If it is required, gel is applied on a dressing material, and then on a wound. In the presence of exudate before drug use the wound needs to be washed out solution of Furacilin (1:5000) or peroxide of hydrogen (3%) and to dry up a gauze napkin. At dermatological diseases and sunblisters treatment can be performed by a bespovyazochny method: 2-3 times a day apply gel on the struck surface. At gynecologic diseases (an erosion of a neck of uterus, erosive colpitises, etc.) previously grease with gel a gauze tampon which is entered deeply into a vagina in a prone position.

Features of use:

It is necessary to avoid hit of gel in eyes.

It is not necessary to apply with other drugs without preliminary consultation of the doctor.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast.

At pregnancy it is necessary to avoid use of drug on big sites; during feeding by a breast use is allowed only on small sites.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms.

Care of children aged till 1 year: Пантестин-Дарница® gel is applied at each replacement of a diaper (diaper). Duration of treatment is defined by the doctor individually, depending on manifestation of clinical signs of injuries of skin.

Side effects:

In rare instances of individual intolerance of components of drug when putting gel emergence of allergic reactions which are characterized by erubescence and an itch is possible. At applications of gel on wounds and burns there can be a feeling of easy burning which passes independently and does not demand drug withdrawal.

Interaction with other medicines:

Drug cannot be used together with soap (anionaktivny substances) and other antiseptic agents which inactivate antimicrobic action of a miramistin.

Some decrease in resistance of microorganisms to antibiotics at simultaneous use is noted with miramistiny.

Dekspantenol can strengthen action of the depolarizing muscle relaxants and weaken action of not depolarizing muscle relaxants thanks to ability to stimulate synthesis of acetylcholine.

During treatment it is not necessary to apply along with other drugs without preliminary consultation with the doctor.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. It is not recommended to apply in the first phase of a wound process at the expressed purulent exudation. Drug is contraindicated for applications on a perforated tympanic membrane in connection with existence of a miramistin in it.

Overdose:

At topical administration the overdose is improbable as active components of drug do not get into a system blood stream.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. To store in original packaging at a temperature not above 25 °C. Freezing of drug is not allowed. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
