Permetrin-Pharma

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 5 mg of permethrin in 1 ml of solution.

Excipients: alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, a makrogolglitserin hydroxystearate, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Means for treatment of a pediculosis. Destroys nits, larvae and puberal individuals of head and pubic louses.

Indications to use:

Solution is applied
- for treatment of a head pediculosis;
- for treatment of a pubic pediculosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Hair plentifully humidify with solution by means of a cotton plug, rubbing medicine in roots of hair. Usually from 10 to 60 ml of drug depending on density and length of hair are spent for one person. After processing the head is covered with a kerchief, and in 40 minutes solution is washed away warm flowing water with soap or shampoo. After washing hair comb a fine-tooth comb for removal of the dead of insects.

At infection with pubic louses carefully to moisten hair of generative organs with means from louses then to wait before full drying. During this time also adult individuals and nits perish. After drying of hair means is removed during bathing.

Features of use:

Processing is carried out in well aired room or on the street. It is necessary to avoid hit of solution on mucous membranes of eyes, a nose, an oral cavity. At accidental hit on their mucous membranes it is necessary to wash out carefully flowing water.

After processing by drug it is necessary to wash up hands with soap and to rinse a mouth flowing water.

Side effects:

In rare instances allergic reactions from skin can take place.

Local reactions: the burning of skin which is taking place in a few minutes.

At detection of the by-effects which are not specified in this instruction to inform the doctor.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to one of drug components
- hypersensitivity
- the lactation period (for treatment of itch)
- children's age (up to 6 months)

With care: pregnancy.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature not above +25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years.
