Mikonazol-Darnitsa

General characteristics. Structure:

Acting veshchestvo:miconazole;

1 g of cream contain Miconazolum of nitrate 20 mg;

excipients: propylene glycol, polyethyleneglycol (macrogoal 400), half-oxameasures (проксанол 268), polyethyleneglycol (macrogoal) cetostearyl ether, cetostearyl alcohol.

Pharmacological properties:

Miconazolum has fungicidal effect on dermatophytes (Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis), barmy and drozhzhepodobny mushrooms (Candida albicans, etc.), and also on other pathogenic fungi (Malassezia furfur. Aspergillus niger, Penicillium crustaceum, etc.). Miconazolum nitrate inhibits biosynthesis of ergosterol and changes lipidic structure of a membrane, causing death of a cell of a mushroom. Drug has also antibacterial effect which was more expressed concerning gram-positive bacteria (stafilokokk, streptococci, etc.) and less expressed concerning gram-negative bacteria (colibacillus, a pyocyanic stick, a protea, etc.). Drug has moderate giperosmolyarny activity owing to what has anti-exudative effect.

At topical administration of Miconazolum nitrate in a system blood stream is practically not soaked up.

Indications to use:

Trichophytosis and epidermophitia of palms, stop and trunks, skin candidiasis, multi-colored deprive, the mixed fungal bacterial damages of skin and nails.

Route of administration and doses:

At fungus diseases of skin 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) apply drug with a thin layer on previously washed up struck surface and carefully rub, occupying the small site around the defeat center. The becoming wet places in the field of folds (interdigital intervals, inguinal folds, etc.) before use of drug need to be washed up and dried a gauze napkin. Duration of a course of treatment can make         from 2 to 6 weeks that depends on a type of a fungus disease, efficiency of treatment and results of mycologic tests; use of drug needs to be continued within 7-10 days after disappearance of clinical symptoms of a disease.

At treatment of onychomycoses after preliminary peeling of the struck nail plate cream is applied with a thin layer on a nail bed by 1-2 times a day with the subsequent imposing of an occlusive bandage. Treatment is performed before final formation of a new nail, and also before stopping of pathological process and full elimination of mushrooms.

Depending on a look and disease severity the individual mode of dosing and a route of administration of drug can be appointed by the doctor.

Features of use:

It is recommended to be careful at treatment of patients with a diabetes mellitus with microcirculation disturbances. At damage of nails

it is recommended to cut off them as it is possible well. Special attention is paid to processing of interdigital intervals at defeat of feet; wearing the free, well aired footwear and change of socks is shown not less than 1 time/day. Emergence of local reactions or lack of clinical improvement within 4 weeks demands the termination of treatment and additional inspection. It is necessary to avoid hit of cream in eyes.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. In spite of the fact that during researches teratogenic effect of drug is not revealed, drug nevertheless is contraindicated during pregnancy. During feeding by a breast drug should not be applied on mammary glands.

Ability to influence the speed of reactions at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Mikonazol-Darnitsa does not influence the speed of reactions at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms.

Children. Drug is used at children from 12 years.

Side effects:

At topical administration of cream Miconazolum - Darnitsa side reactions, usually, are not observed. However development of complications from the following bodies and systems is in rare instances possible:

from immune system: hypersensitivity reactions, anaphylactic reactions, and Quincke's disease;

from system of skin: an itch, dryness, reddening, burning and a pricking of the site of leather which was processed drug, urticaria, contact dermatitis, an erythema.

If above-mentioned by-effects do not pass further independently, use of drug needs to be stopped.

Interaction with other medicines:

Interaction of Mikonazol-Darnitsa cream with other drugs is not revealed, however it is not recommended to be applied along with other ointments or creams.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, a herpes infection, pregnancy (ІІ and ІІІ trimesters), children's age up to 12 years.

Overdose:

As at topical administration of Miconazolum nitrate is practically not soaked up in a system blood stream, cases of overdose of drug is not revealed.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. To store in the place, unavailable to children, in original packaging, at a temperature from 8 °C to 15 °C.
