Модуретик®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 5 mg of Amiloridum hydrochloridum, 50 mg of a hydrochlorothiazide in 1 tablet.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined drug which effect is caused by the components which are its part; has diuretic and hypotensive effect. The hydrochlorothiazide - diuretic of average force of action, increases removal of Na+, Cl-, K+, Mg2+, hydrocarbonate; detains in Ca2+ organism, uric acid. Amiloride reduces removal of K+ and Mg2+. The combination of components of drug reduces risk of development of a hypopotassemia and hypomagnesiemia.

Indications to use:

Arterial hypertension, cardiac hypostases, ascites and edematous syndrome at cirrhosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, during food — on 1–2 tablets 1–2 times a day. The daily dose should not exceed 4 tablets (on 2 tablets 2 times a day).

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy. It is not recommended.

Special instructions at reception. At prolonged use it is necessary to control concentration of K+, Na+, Cl-, urea, creatinine, glucose, uric acid in blood.

Side effects:

Headache, weakness, depression, sleep disorder, hypotonia, arrhythmia, dispeptic frustration, gout, joint pains, spasms, renal failure, hyperpotassemia, hyponatremia, dehydration, impotence, rash, etc.

Interaction with other medicines:

At co-administration APF inhibitors increase risk of a hyperpotassemia; alcohol, barbiturates, antihypertensives strengthen hypotonia, NPVS reduce effects. Modureticum reduces reaction to pressor amines, strengthens effect of not depolarizing muscle relaxants. At joint appointment with antidiabetic drugs it is necessary to adjust their dose. It is not recommended to combine with drugs of lithium, potassium and kaliysberegayushchy means.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, renal failure, hyperpotassemia, children's age.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light, at a temperature of 15-30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A drug Modureticum period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
