Ascites is a consequence of cirrhosis in 75%; malignant new growths — in 10%; heart failure in 5% of cases.
Ascites symptoms:
At big ascites the stomach is evenly increased, blown up, his skin is tense, shines; on it expanded veins are visible. Protrusion of a navel due to significant increase in intra belly pressure and development of hernia of an umbilical ring is often observed. Ascites reasons:
Ascites — local manifestation of the general circulatory disturbances at heart troubles or result of stagnation of blood in an abdominal cavity owing to difficulty of its outflow.
Main pathogenetic mechanisms:
- Stagnation of blood in a big circle of blood circulation at right ventricular heart failure;
- Portal hypertensia;
- Kantseromatoz of a peritoneum at eviction of cancer cells of malignant tumors of abdominal organs in a peritoneal cavity;
- A local lymphostasis at a filariasis of the absorbent vessels collecting a lymph from abdominal organs or cancer metastasises in regional lymph nodes;

Treatment of Ascites:
