Description:
In medical literature this disease is quite often called
"spring conjunctivitis". Spring conjunctivitis meets at men (from 5 to 20 years) more often.
Symptoms of Seasonal conjunctivitis:
The first symptoms of development of seasonal conjunctivitis are strong burning in eyes, feeling of hit in an eye of a foreign body, an itch and the expressed photophobia. After a while on a mucous membrane there are small convex new growths painted in white or yellow color. An exacerbation of spring conjunctivitis as it is clear from its name,
occurs in the spring, and symptoms of pathology remain until the end of August.
Eyes swell, redden and strongly itch. There is their desire to rub incessantly, but simplification comes for a while. Usually after that eyelids redden even more and swell. These "warts" are curable, but if the disease dragged on, they can injure a cornea and lead as a result to emergence of hems on it.
Reasons of Seasonal conjunctivitis:
The reasons of its emergence are not established. Perhaps, one of the contributing factors is the ultraviolet radiation of the Sun. Most often this kind of a disease occurs at men.
Treatment of Seasonal conjunctivitis:
the first to avoid possible allergen irrespective of whether it is distinguished or it is only suspected "guilty" of this state. Secondly, to reduce irritation, to actively use the calming eye-washes, for example with weak hydrochloric solution. Thirdly, not to carry contact lenses.
Allergens at spring conjunctivitis are similar to those which cause a pollinosis, or hay fever. Pollen of trees and flowers, a grass, dust and a mold concern to them air-borne. Sensitivity to tobacco smoke, cosmetics, eye drugs, various chemicals, some food stuffs and nutritional supplements can be other reasons.
Also prepare that the doctor will surely appoint special antiallergic drops (individually): as in the medical purposes, and preventively (at tendency to similar pathology). Besides, can bring benefit and parallel reception of antihistaminic drugs in tablets. Locally (on area of eyes) they are applied seldom as the preservatives which are present at drops or ointments are capable to cause the allergic answer.
