Aqua Maris For a throat

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 100% sterile hypertonic salt solution of water of the Adriatic Sea with natural salts and microelements. Does not contain preservatives.

Presence of ions:
Sodium (Na+) - not less than 7,50 mg/ml;
Calcium (Sa2+) - not less than 0,25 mg/ml;
Potassium (To +) - not less than 0,20 mg/ml;
Magnesium (Mg24-) - not less than 1,00 mg/ml;
Cl-not less than 16,50 mg/ml;
Sulfates (SO42-) - not less than 1,80 mg/ml;
Hydrocarbonates (NS03-) - not less than 0,10 mg/ml;
Br-not less than 0,04 mg/ml.

Natural drug, solution of water of the Adriatic Sea, with the increased content of the salts providing antiseptic effect. It is applied to treatment and prevention of acute and chronic pharyngitises and tonsillitis. It is recommended to people with frequent exacerbations of inflammatory diseases of a nasopharynx.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug on the basis of hypertonic sterilkny salt solution of sea water is used with the medical, preventive and hygienic purposes for clarification, removal of irritation and protection of a mucous membrane of a throat. The microelements which are a part of drug increase resistance of a mucous membrane of a throat to disease-producing bacteria and viruses, promote increase in local immunity.

Indications to use:

- for prevention and in complex treatment of acute and chronic, infectious and inflammatory diseases of a throat (tonsillitis, an adenoiditis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).
- for prevention and in complex treatment of a SARS (including to pregnant women and in the period of a lactation);
- to the patients suffering from dryness of a mucous membrane of a back wall of a throat owing to the increased dryness or air pollution (central heating, conditioning) for the purpose of saving physiological characteristics of a mucous membrane of a throat in the changed microclimatic conditions.

Route of administration and doses:

Spray for topical administration. To adults and children of 4-6 times a day on 3-4 injections, directing the sprayer to a back wall of a throat. Before use to turn the sprayer in horizontal position. When using for the first time to press a cover several times.

Side effects:

Interaction with other medicines:
