БРОНХО-ВАКСОМ®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active component: The standardized lyophilisate of bacterial lysates: Haemophilus influenzae, StaphyiOcoccus pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Klebsiella ozaenae, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus viridans, Moraxella catanhalis.

Auxiliary components gallate (antioxidant), anhydrous sodium глютамат spent on drink (cryoprotector), Mannitolum (filler), gelated starch (binding), magnesium silicate (hardener), З^гния stearate (lubricant), indigotin (E 132 dye), titanium oxide (E 171 dye), gelatin.

Bronkho-Vaksom's capsule for adults contains: 7 mg of the standardized lyophilisate of bacterial lysates.

Bronkho-Vaksom's capsule for children contains: 3,5 mg of the standardized lyophilisate of bacterial lysates.

Pharmacological properties:

The immunostimulating drug of a bacterial origin. Increases humoral and cellular immunity. Stimulates peritoneal macrophages, increases quantity of T lymphocytes and increases formation of the immunoglobulins A, G, M cosecreted by a mucous membrane of respiratory tracts. The immunopromoting effect of a lysate of bacteria is caused by influence on plaque peyerova in mucous a GIT.
Clinically Bronkho-Vaksom reduces the frequency of acute infections, reduces duration of their current, reduces weight of symptoms, and also reduces probability of an exacerbation of chronic diseases. At the same time requirement of use of other medicines, especially antibiotics decreases.

Indications to use:

– treatment of infectious diseases of respiratory tracts (including as a part of a combination therapy);

– prevention of recurrent infections of upper and lower respiratory tracts (including chronic bronchitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).

Route of administration and doses:

To adults and children 12 years are more senior drug use by Bronkho-Vaks the adult is recommended. Children aged from 6 months up to 12 years should use drug Bronkho-Vaksy children's.
For treatment acute and exacerbations of persistent respiratory infections drug appoint on 1 капс. 1 times/days. Drug should be accepted in the morning on an empty stomach, daily, within not less than 10 days. Duration of treatment is defined individually on the basis of a condition of the patient. In need of performing antibiotic treatment by Bronkho-Vaks it is necessary to accept in combination with an antibiotic from an initiation of treatment.
For prevention of exacerbations of persistent respiratory infections and as a maintenance therapy appoint on 1 капс. / days daily in the morning on an empty stomach. The course of treatment includes 3 cycles for 10 days, an interval between cycles of 20 days.
If it is difficult for child to swallow the capsule, it it is necessary to open and mix its contents with drink (fruit juice, milk).

Features of use:

Bronkho-Vaksom it is possible to apply along with other medicines in therapy of respiratory diseases.
The patient has to be warned that in case of the ongoing dispeptic phenomena, skin and respiratory reactions Bronkho-Vaksom's reception should be stopped as it can be manifestation of allergic reactions and consult with the attending physician.

Pregnancy and lactation. Drug is contraindicated to use in the I trimester of pregnancy and in the period of a lactation.

Side effects:

From the alimentary system: nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting.
Dermatological reactions: itch, erythema.
From respiratory system: cough, short wind.
From TsNS: headache, feeling of fatigue.

Interaction with other medicines:

Drug interaction by Bronkho-Vaks with other medicines is not established so far.

Contraindications:

– children's age up to 6 months;
– I trimester of pregnancy;
– lactation period;
– hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

Data on drug overdose cases by Bronkho-Vaks are absent now.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. A period of validity - 5 years.
