Hydrogen peroxide

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 3 g of peroxide of hydrogen, 0,05 g of Natrium benzoicum.

Excipients: the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Peroxide of hydrogen decays in cells under the influence of enzymes (peroxidase, a catalase) with eliminating of oxygen which has the antimicrobic, deodorizing, depigmenting property. Except antiseptic, has local styptic effect.

Indications to use:

Solution of peroxide of hydrogen of 3% is applied to processing of wounds (including purulent), grazes, burns for the purpose of the prevention of infections and a stop of insignificant bleedings; and also for rinsing, washing and greasing at stomatitis, quinsy, otitis, gynecologic diseases for the purpose of disinfection and odor removal.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly for greasing of affected areas of skin and mucous membranes. For rinsings and washing of purulent wounds to mix drug with an equal amount of water. To avoid a proglatyvaniye.

Features of use:

Only for external use. Not to allow hit in eyes. To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Side effects:

At prolonged use for rinsings the hypertrophy of nipples of language, an anesthesia is possible.

Contraindications:

Do not enter into cavities and the getting wounds.
