Description:
Dysphoria — the suppressed mood with a shade of gloom, melancholy, gloomy discontent with spiteful irritability.
Dysphoria symptoms:
The dysphoric depression is shown by a combination of sad or sad and alarming mood to the irritability passing quite often into rage with aggressive actions. Patients cannot find any peace, are dissatisfied with everything, feel the invincible need for the movement, become persuasive and impatient. Usually changes of mood arise sharply and can disappear also suddenly. In a dysphoric state patients are inclined to flashes of rage and self-aggression.
Dysphoria reasons:
It is inherent to patients with epilepsy, quite often preceding an epileptic seizure, and also sick with a psychopathy and some other diseases of TsNS.
Treatment of the Dysphoria:
Apply intramuscular injections of aminazine to stopping of a dysphoria (on 2 — 4 ml of 2,5% of solution) or Relanium (on 2 — 4 ml of 0,5% of solution), and also appoint neuleptil to 30 mg a day, anticonvulsant drugs and antidepressants.
