General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 30 mg of an idebenon in 1 capsule.

Excipients: lactoses monohydrate, MKTs, potato starch, povidone (polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical or пласдон), magnesium stearate.

Capsule cover: titanium dioxide, quinolinic yellow, "Sunset" yellow, gelatin.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Improves exchange processes in a brain by activation of synthesis of glucose and ATP, improvement of blood supply and oxygenation of tissues of brain, promotes removal of lactates. Being antioxidant, slows down peroxide oxidation of lipids and by that protects membranes of neurons and mitochondrions from damages.

Has nootropic properties with psychogogic effect and neurotyre-tread action. From the first days of administration of drug anti-asthenic, psychogogic and antidepressive action is shown. Nootropic and mnemotropny action is noted after 20–25 days of treatment.

Pharmacokinetics. It is quickly soaked up in a GIT, the peak of concentration in blood is reached through the 4th p. T1/2 makes about 18 h. Easily gets through GEB in significant amounts and it is distributed in brain tissues. There is no cumulation even at prolonged use. It is metabolized in a liver, excreted with urine and fecal masses.

Indications to use:

- the psychoorganic syndrome caused by disturbances of cerebral circulation and age involutional changes of a brain;

- tserebroastenichesky frustration vascular, traumatic, psychogenic (neurasthenia) and the combined etiology, shown in shape: disturbances of memory and/or attention, decrease in intellectual productivity and general activity, emotional instability, the asthenic, astheno-depressive and moderately expressed depressions, a headache, dizzinesses, a sonitus.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, after food. On 1 капс. (30 mg) a day, evening reception no later than 17 h is recommended to make 2–3 times. Duration of a course of therapy makes 1,5–2 months. 2–3 times a year are recommended to carry out repeated courses.

Features of use:

Influence on ability to driving or other mechanisms. Drivers of transport and persons whose profession demands bystry mental and motor reaction since studying of influence of drug on the persons driving the car or performing the work demanding speed of psychomotor reactions was not carried out cannot accept in operating time.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, backfilling disturbance, hyperphrenia, headache, dyspepsia.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not established.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to active ingredient to an idebenon;

- chronic renal failure;

- children up to 18 years (due to the lack of data).

With care it is necessary to apply at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation.

Overdose:

Symptoms: strengthening of expressiveness of side effects.

Treatment: gastric lavage, reception of absorbent carbon, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature not above 30 °C. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
