General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient:

- Phenobarbital
- Acid a-bromizovalerianovoy ethyl ether
- Peppermint oil
- Marjoram oil
- Alcohol
- The water purified

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug. Phenobarbital possesses sedative and soft sleeping pill effects. Promotes decrease in excitement of TsNS and facilitates approach of a natural dream. Etilbromizovalerianat has also sedative and spasmolytic effect. Oil of a peppermint has reflex vasodilating and spasmolytic activity.

Indications to use:

Appoint as calming and a vasodilator at functional frustration of cardiovascular system, at the neurosis-like states which are followed by an acrimony, the broken backfilling, tachycardia, a condition of excitement with the expressed vegetative manifestations.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, to food with a small amount of liquid
The adult appoint usually till 15-30 drops 3 times a day. At tachycardia increase in a single dose drops is possible till 40-50.
To children appoint from calculation - 1 drop to a year of life.
Duration of use of drug is established individually by the doctor.

Side effects:

Drug, as a rule, is well transferred.
In some cases, drowsiness and slight dizziness can be observed in the afternoon.
At prolonged use of high doses development of chronic poisoning with bromine which manifestations happen is possible: depressive mood, apathy, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, hemorrhagic diathesis, lack of coordination of movements.
At emergence of any side (unusual) effects which are not reflected in the instruction it is necessary to report about them to the attending physician.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of Valoserdin and means, the oppressing TsNS, perhaps mutual strengthening of effects. Action, Valoserdin who is a part, phenobarbital the drugs containing valproic acid strengthen. Valoserdin at the expense of the phenobarbital which is contained in him can weaken action of coumarinic derivatives, glucocorticosteroids, griseofulvin, peroral contraceptives. Valoserdin can increase toxicity of a methotrexate.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components; the expressed renal failures and/or a liver, pregnancy, the lactation period.

Overdose:

Symptoms.
- At easy and medium-weight otrvleniye drowsiness, dizziness, psychomotor disturbances is observed.
- In heavy cases - a coma, a lowering of arterial pressure, breath disturbance, tachycardia, a vascular collapse, decrease in peripheral reflexes.
Treatment: to wash out a stomach, to accept absorbent carbon and to call the doctor
