Zheka Ton®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 500 g of a camomile pharmaceutical flowers, 250 g of a calendula medicinal flowers, 250 g of a yarrow ordinary grass.

Excipients: ethanol (alcohol) of 40%.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined drug of a plant origin Zhekaton® has antiinflammatory effect, has haemo static and spasmolytic properties.

Pharmacokinetics. Data are absent.

Indications to use:

In stomatology of Zhekaton® apply at adults at inflammatory diseases of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity of various etiology and parodont, such as aphthous stomatitis, periodontal disease, ulcer and necrotic gingivostomatitis.

In gastroenterology drug is used in complex treatment at gastroduodenita, chronic enterita and colitis.

Route of administration and doses:

ЖеКаТон® apply locally, inside and rektalno in the form of aqueous solution which before use prepare by addition 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of drug in 200 ml (1 glass) of warm boiled water. On condition of good tolerance of drug, the dose can be increased to 15 ml (3 teaspoons) by 1 glass of warm boiled water.

The daily dose of drug makes from 10 to 15 ml (2–3 teaspoons). The maximum daily dose of drug makes 30 ml (6 teaspoons).

Locally: at diseases of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity solution of drug is applied by applications (15-20 minutes) or oral rinsings within 1-2 minutes, by 2-3 times a day. Course of treatment of 2-5 days. Treatment of a parodont is carried out after removal of a dental calculus and a scraping of pathological gingival pockets. For 20 min. enter the thin turundas which are plentifully moistened with aqueous solution of drug into gingival pockets. The procedure is carried out 1 time a day daily or every other day. Duration of treatment makes 4-6 procedures.

Inside (in gastroenterology): aqueous solution of drug is accepted on 60-100 ml (1/3-1/2 glasses) in 30 min. prior to food or in 40-60 min. after food, by 3-4 times a day. A course of treatment – 2-3 weeks.

Rektalno (in gastroenterology): aqueous solution of drug of 50-100 ml, is applied by 1-2 times a day in the form of microclysters, after a cleansing enema. Course of treatment of 3-6 days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Drug is contraindicated to use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

The ethanol content in drug makes not less than 33%. The single dose of drug (1/3-1/2 teaspoons) contains up to 0,651 g of absolute alcohol.

The daily dose of drug (2-3 teaspoons) contains up to 3,906 g (5 ml) of absolute alcohol. The maximum daily dose (to 6 teaspoons) contains 7,812 g (10 ml) of absolute alcohol.

During treatment by the drug Zhekaton® it is necessary to be careful during the driving of motor transport and occupation other potentially dangerous types of activity demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

It is not necessary to exceed the specified daily dose. Before use to shake up.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible. At emergence of the side effects stated above, stop use of drug and as soon as possible see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

Now it is not established clinically significant interactions of the drug Zhekaton® at combined use it with other medicines.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components which are a part of drug, age up to 18 years, abnormal liver functions, heavy renal failures, alcoholism, a craniocereberal injury, brain diseases.

Overdose:

So far about cases of overdose of drug it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not over 25 ºС. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 2 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
