Description:

Periodontal disease (from other - Greek παρα-— near,  — tooth, - ит — inflammatory character), differently the inflammatory disease of fabrics of a parodont which is characterized by the progressing destruction of normal structure of an alveolar shoot of a jaw. The periodontal disease is widespread rather widely, as well as other diseases of a parodont.

The periodontal disease is an inflammatory disease of the tissues of gum surrounding and holding tooth (parodonta). Local means: (antiseptic agents, antiinflammatory drugs, enzymes, essential oils), removal of tooth deposits. Physical therapy, vitamins, especially vitamin C and groups B, biogenic stimulators.

Surgical and orthopedic intervention, prosthetics, in the subsequent — a dietary and resort therapy, mental rest. Treatment is individual, complex, the choice of methods depends on a stage of a disease, character of a complication and the general condition of an organism.
