Adzhikold-plus

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 70 mg of camphor, 60 mg of menthol of racemic, 15 mg of methyl-isopropyl phenol, 30 mg of oil eucalyptus radio.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined means of a plant origin with the local irritative, mestnoobezbolivayushchy (distracting), antiseptic and antiinflammatory action.

Pharmacokinetics. Due to the low system absorption data on pharmacokinetics of drug are absent.

Indications to use:

It is applied in complex therapy:

— infectious and inflammatory diseases (including catarrhal) the upper and lower respiratory tracts which are followed by cough, cold, feeling of a congestion of a nose;

— at muscular pains;

— at neuralgia.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. At infectious and inflammatory diseases of upper and lower respiratory tracts: a small amount of ointment is applied by 2 times/days on an upper part of a breast, neck and back and vigorously pound. After grinding it is necessary to be in heat.

Muscular pains, neuralgia: a small amount of ointment is applied by 2 times/days on skin over painful sites and vigorously pound. After grinding it is necessary to be in heat.

At rhinitis (cold): it is necessary to dissolve 1 teaspoon of ointment in 200 ml (1 glass) of very hot water and to inhale 2 times a day. Not to heat during inhalation. Not to reuse the prepared solution for inhalations.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. With care: period of pregnancy and lactation.

Use for children. It is contraindicated to children up to 2 years.

With care: children's age from 2 to 3 years

It is strictly forbidden to apply ointment on mucous membranes (in particular a nose and an oral cavity), on burn surfaces or the injured skin. It is necessary to avoid hit of drug in eyes.

At accidental hit of drug in eyes or on mucous membranes of a nasal cavity and a mouth to wash out cold water.

Side effects:

The menthol and essential oils which are a part of drug can lead to hypersensitivity reaction development, including contact dermatitis.

At accidental administration of drug development of such side effects as is inside possible: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, drowsiness.

Interaction with other medicines:

Data on interaction of drug with other medicines are absent.

Contraindications:

— tendency to a bronchospasm;

— spasms in the anamnesis;

— damages of integuments in the field of alleged putting drug;

— children's age up to 2 years;

— hypersensitivity to drug components.

With care: period of pregnancy and lactation, children's age from 2 to 3 years.

Overdose:

At external use of cases of overdose it is not registered.

Symptoms at accidental intake: nausea, vomiting, spastic abdominal pains, a headache, the expressed dizziness, erubescence of the person, breath difficulty, a delirium, spasms, oppression of TsNS and lump.

Treatment: reception of absorbent carbon, salt laxative and gastric lavage. Spasms can be stopped slow intravenous administration of diazepam or, if necessary, barbiturates of short action.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. Not to freeze. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years.
