Sinupret

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 0,2 g of a gentian root (Gentiana lutea), 0,6 g of a primrose flowers (Primula veris), 0,6 g of a sorrel grass (Rumex acetosa), 0,6 g of elder flowers (Sambucus nigra), 0,6 g of a verbena grass (Verbena officinalis). Ethanol content: 16,0-19,0% (about/about).

Excipients: the purified water.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined drug of a plant origin. Pharmacological properties are caused by biologically active agents which are a part of drug. Синупрет® has sekretolitichesky, sekretomotorny, antiinflammatory effect. Promotes outflow of exudate from adnexal bosoms of a nose and upper respiratory tracts.

Indications to use:

The acute and chronic sinusitis which is followed by formation of a viscous secret.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, previously having parted in a small amount of water.

- adult: on 50 drops 3 times a day.
- to children of school age: on 25 drops 3 times a day.
- to children from 2 to 6 years: on 15 drops 3 times a day.

The course of treatment makes 7-14 days. If symptoms remain more than 7-14 days or repeat periodically, then it is necessary to consult with the doctor.

Features of use:

As a part of drug 16,0-19,0% of ethanol contain (in the volume relation). When using the bottle should be held in vertical position.

In the course of storage of drops of Sinupret® perhaps easy opacification or loss of an insignificant deposit that does not influence efficiency of drug.

At use in the recommended doses drug does not exert impact on ability to control of motor transport and work with the mechanisms requiring special attention. Before the use to shake up!

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (skin rash, erubescence, itch, Quincke's disease, asthma) are possible. Emergence of pain in an upper part of a stomach, nausea is seldom or never possible. At emergence of side effects it is necessary to stop administration of drug and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

The combination with antibacterial medicines is possible and reasonable.

Interaction with other medicines is not known so far.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, alcoholism, children's age (up to 2 years). It is not necessary to accept drug to patients after successful antialcoholic treatment.

With care: liver diseases, epilepsy, diseases and brain injuries (use is possible only after consultation with the doctor).

Overdose:

Administration of drug in the doses considerably exceeding therapeutic can cause an alcoholic poisoning. In this case it is necessary to see a doctor immediately. At reception of contents of the whole bottle (100 ml) 16 g of alcohol get to an organism.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to apply after a period of validity. Open bottles can be used within 6 months.
