Tonzilotren

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 12,5 mg of Atropinum sulfuricum D5, 10 mg of Hepar sulfuris D3, 50 mg of Kalium bichromicum D4, 5 mg of Silicea D2, 25 mg of Mercurius bijodatus D8 of 25 mg

Excipients: lactoses monohydrate, sucrose, magnesium stearate.

Complex drug for treatment of quinsies.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The homeopathic medicine used at an acute and adenoid disease. Drug has antiinflammatory effect, stimulates regeneration processes, promotes reduction of hypertrophied almonds. Stimulates immunity.

Pharmacokinetics. The pharmacokinetics of drug of Tonzilotren is not studied.

Indications to use:

As a part of complex therapy at:
— to quinsy (catarral, lacunary, follicular);
— adenoid disease;
— for acceleration of healing of a mucous membrane of a throat after removal of almonds.

Route of administration and doses:

At the acute course of a disease to children from 3 to 12 years each 2 h within 1-2 days (no more than 8 times/days) before improvement, further - on 1 tablets of 3 times/days to an absolute recovery appoint 1 tablet.

To adults and children 12 years are more senior appoint 1 tablet each hour within 1-2 days (no more than 12 times/days) before improvement, further - on 1-2 tablets of 3 times/days to an absolute recovery.

At an adenoid disease to children from 3 to 12 years appoint 1 tablet of 3 times/days, to adults and children 12 years - on 1-2 tablets of 3 times/days within 6-8 weeks are more senior. It is recommended to carry out repeated courses of treatment (several times a year).

Pill should be taken in 30 min. prior to or in 30 min. after meal, slowly rassasyvy them in a mouth. Children from 3 to 5 years of a tablet are given in the crushed look under language or dissolve in a small amount of liquid.

Features of use:

At Tonzilotren's use perhaps temporary aggravation of symptoms. In this case the patient has to stop administration of drug and consult with the doctor.

At Tonzilotren's use use of other medicines is allowed.

The patient has to be informed that in case of lack of therapeutic effect at an acute disease during the first 2 days it is necessary to stop administration of drug and to consult with the doctor.

Drug use Tonzilotren at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding) is possible only in that case when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit and the child.

Side effects:

Perhaps: the increased salivation (in this case it is necessary to reduce a dose or to stop administration of drug).

Allergic reactions: in isolated cases - skin rash, a skin itch (in this case administration of drug should be stopped).

Interaction with other medicines:

Medicinal interaction of drug Tonzilotren with other medicines is not established.

Contraindications:

— hypersensitivity to chrome or other components of drug.
It is not recommended to appoint drug to children up to 3 years because of insufficiency of clinical data.

With care it is necessary to appoint drug at a hyperthyroidism.

Use of drug TONZILOTREN at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug use Tonzilotren at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding) is possible only in that case when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit and the child.

Use for children. It is not recommended to appoint drug to children up to 3 years because of insufficiency of clinical data.

Overdose:

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 to 25 °C. Period of validity of 5 years.
