Evkabal With

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 10 g of oil of eucalyptus, 3 g of oil of needles of a pine.

Excipients: cetyl stearyl alcohol, a glitserol monostearate, a macrogoal stearate, sodium cetylstearylsulphate, трометамол, citric acid monohydrate, гвайазулен, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Expectorant drug of a plant origin for inhalations, bathtubs and external use. Has also antiinflammatory effect.

Pharmacokinetics. Data on drug pharmacokinetics Evkabal With are not provided.

Indications to use:

— as a part of complex therapy of diseases of upper parts of respiratory tracts (including rhinitises, pharyngitises, bronchitis

Route of administration and doses:

At use of drug in the form of grindings it is recommended to 2-3 times/days to apply a strip of an emulsion 3-5 cm long on skin of a breast and interscapular area and it is good to pound.

At use of drug in the form of steam inhalations it is recommended to add a strip of an emulsion 3-5 cm long to 1-2 l of hot water, to mix and breathe the ferry under a towel.

At use of drug in the form of bathtubs (generally at babies 2 months and children of younger age are aged more senior) the strip of an emulsion 8-10 cm long is added to 20 l of water of temperature of 36-37 °C (for babies) or 2 strips 10 cm long on 40 l (for children of younger age), bathing duration - 10 min. Bathtubs repeat before total disappearance of symptoms of a disease, 3-4 times a week. In addition, if necessary, the emulsion is rubbed in skin of a breast and interscapular area. Children are recommended to observe a bed rest.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. The question of a possibility of use of drug at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation is solved the doctor individually.

Use for children. Contraindications:

— children's age up to 2 months (for use in the form of bathtubs and grindings);

— children's age up to 5 years (for use in the form of inhalations).

Special instructions. Drug is intended only for inhalations and external use. After acceptance baths should not be taken

Interaction with other medicines:

So far medicinal interaction of drug Evkabal With is not revealed.

Contraindications:

— bronchial asthma;

— whooping cough;

— children's age up to 2 months (for use in the form of bathtubs and grindings);

— children's age up to 5 years (for use in the form of inhalations);

— hypersensitivity to drug components.

It is not necessary to use drug in the form of grindings at disturbance of integrity of integuments, existence of skin diseases on sites of intended application.

It is not necessary to use drug in the form of grindings in a face (especially a nose) at babies and children of younger age.

Use of drug in the form of bathtubs has the following contraindications:

— diseases of cardiovascular system (arterial hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmia, stenocardia) in a decompensation stage;

— fervescence (more than 38 °C) at infectious diseases.

Overdose:

So far the overdose of drug is not described. At accidental intake development of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea is possible.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years.
