General characteristics. Structure:

Syrup Linkas brown color with a characteristic smell.

Active ingredients: in 10 ml of syrup contains:

- dry extract of leaves of an adkhatoda of vascular 600 mg
- dry extract of roots of a glycyrrhiza of naked 75 mg
- dry extract of fruits and roots of pepper of long 100 mg
- dry extract of flowers of a violet of fragrant 25 mg
- dry extract of leaves of a hyssop of medicinal 50 mg
- dry extract of roots and rhizomes of an alpiniya of a galang of 50 mg
- dry extract of fruits of a sebesten of broad-leaved 100 mg
- dry extract of flowers of a mallow of medicinal 100 mg
- dry extract of fruits of a zizifus of the real 100 mg
- dry extract of leaves and flowers of an onosma of pritsvetkovy 100 mg

Excipients: sucrose, citric acid anhydrous, глицерол, methylparahydroxybenzoate, пропилпарагидроксибензоат, propylene glycol, peppermint oil, oil clove, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined phytodrug which effect is caused by properties of its components.

Adkhatoda vascular contains essential oils, vitamins and alkaloids, including вазицин, вазицинол and вазицинон. These highly effective connections, have mucolytic, antiinflammatory, broncholitic and expectorant properties. Besides, possesses antiasthmatic action, protecting from the bronchospasm caused by action of a histamine.

The root of a glycyrrhiza naked contains glycyrrhizin, glycyrrhizic acid, its potassium and calcic salts, flavonovy glycosides, vitamins, essential oil, bitterness and other connections. They have the immunostimulating, antioxidant, antiinflammatory and antiallergic properties.

Pepper long contains alkaloid volcanic tuff; possesses antimicrobic, antiinflammatory and expectorant action.

The violet fragrant renders antiinflammatory, sedative, febrifugal and antihistaminic action.

The hyssop medicinal contains diosmin which has expectorant, sudorific, antiallergic, spasmolytic and diuretic properties.

Kalgan big contains essential oils, камферид, галангин and альпинин. Has expectorant effect.

The sebesten broad-leaved has antimicrobic, analgeziruyushchy and spasmolytic effect.

The mallow medicinal contains polysaccharides, starch, pectin, sugar, asparagine, carotene, lecithin, a phytosterol, mineral salts and fat oils. Has expectorant and antiinflammatory effect.

Zizifus ordinary has expectorant effect, reduces pharyngalgias, has sedative and antibacterial properties.

Linkas has the softening and calming effect at the dry and irritating cough, liquefies a viscous phlegm and promotes its otkhozhdeniye from respiratory tracts, possesses also antiinflammatory, broncholitic and spasmolytic action.

Pharmacokinetics. Effect of drug Linkas is cumulative action of its components therefore carrying out pharmacokinetic researches is not possible.

Indications to use:

— cough and cold;

— the dry and irritating cough;

— the cough connected with asthma and bronchitis (acute and chronic);

— pharyngitis, tracheitis and quinsy;

— infectious and allergic form of bronchial asthma;

— sanitation of upper parts of respiratory tracts in before - and the postoperative period.

Route of administration and doses:

The adult drug is appointed on the 2nd teaspoons (10 ml) of syrup. Frequency rate of reception - 3-4 times/days.

To children appoint on 1 teaspoon of 3-4 times/days. To babies - on 1/2 teaspoons of 3-4 times/days.

Drug is accepted irrespective of meal. A course of treatment - 5-7 days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Adequate and strictly controlled researches of safety of use of drug at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation were not conducted.

Use at abnormal liver functions. There are no data.

Use at renal failures. There are no data.

Special instructions. Sucrose (70%) is a part of syrup that needs to be considered at purpose of drug a sick diabetes mellitus, exudative diathesis and to the patients keeping to a hypocaloric diet.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions to drug components are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Medicinal interaction of drug Linkas is not revealed.

Contraindications:

— diabetes mellitus;

— exudative diathesis;

— the increased individual sensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

So far about drug overdose cases Linkas it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
