Rutatsid

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 500 mg of a gidrotaltsit.

Excipients: Mannitolum; sodium saccharin; sodium starch glycollate; talc; magnesium stearate; the proofreader of taste — mint spicate.

The most effective antiacid drug produced in the form of chewable tablets. Its main action consists in release of ions of aluminum and magnesium from what promotes protection of a mucous membrane of a stomach, decrease in proteolytic activity of pepsin, binding of bile acids.  Effective, safe, natural drug, with pleasant mint taste, possessing bystry and long action for simtomatichesky treatment of heartburn, an eructation, a stomach ache.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Gidrotaltsit has a layered net with the low content of aluminum and magnesium. Release of ions of aluminum and magnesium happens gradually depending on рН a gastric juice. Drug provides bystry and long neutralization of hydrochloric acid with maintenance рН close to normal level. Has protective action on a mucous membrane of a stomach. Reduces proteolytic activity of pepsin, connects bile acids.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption of drug happens in a small bowel. After intake the maintenance of ions of magnesium and aluminum in a blood plasma temporarily increases, but penetration into nervous and bone fabrics does not happen (at normal function of kidneys). The absorbed part is removed by kidneys.

Indications to use:

• acute gastritis, chronic gastritis with the increased secretory function in an aggravation phase;
• Hyperacidity of a gastric juice
• peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
• reflux esophagitis;
• discomfort and pains in epigastriums, heartburn, an acid eructation after errors in a diet, excess alcohol intake, reception of medicines.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, carefully chewing.

To adults and children 12 years are more senior: on 1–2 tab. 3-4 of time a day in an hour after food and before going to bed.

To children at the age of 6–12 years: on 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Treatment should be continued within 4 weeks.

Features of use:

With care: chronic renal failure, gipofofsfatemiya.

At purpose of drug a sick diabetes mellitus it is necessary to consider that Rutatsid® contains Mannitolum and saccharin of sodium. At administration of drug in high doses development of diarrhea because of the content in Mannitolum drug is possible.

There are no confirmed data on undesirable action of a gidrotaltsit during the periods of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Administration of drug during pregnancy is possible after consultation with the doctor. There are no data on penetration of drug into breast milk therefore the nursing women can accept drug.

There were no messages on influence of Rutatsida® on ability to drive the car and other mechanisms.

Side effects:

At reception of high doses of drug development of diarrhea is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Рутацид® reduces absorption of tetracycline antibiotics, ftorkhinolon (ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin), peroral anticoagulants, iron preparations, coumarins, antibiotikovintervat between reception of Rutatsida® and other medicines has to make not less than 1-2 h.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to drug components
• children's age (up to 6 years).

Overdose:

Overdose cases were not noted by the drug Rutatsid®. At reception of high doses of drug it is necessary to control function of kidneys.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature no more than 30 °C. To store in    the place, unavailable to children.
