Венорутон®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 0-(β-гидроксиэтил) - rutosides (= okserutina).
Excipients: carbomer 980, sodium hydroxide of 30% w/w, EDTA dinatrium, a benzalkoniya chloride, the purified water.

Description. Homogeneous, transparent, sometimes slightly opalescent gel, golden-yellow color, almost inodorous.

Pharmacological properties:

Derivative routine. Affects preferential capillaries and veins.
Narrows pores between endothelial cells due to modification of the fibrous matrix located between endothelium cells. Inhibits aggregation and increases degree of deformability of erythrocytes; has antiinflammatory effect. At chronic venous insufficiency Venorutonum reduces expressiveness of hypostasis, pain, spasms, trophic frustration, varicose ulcers. Facilitates the symptoms connected with hemorrhoids - pain, an itch and bleeding.
Thanks to favorable impact of Venorutonum on permeability and resistance of walls of capillaries, it promotes delay of development of a diabetic retinopathy. Besides, its influence on rheological properties of blood promotes prevention of microthromboses of a retina. Venorutonum gel reduces hypostases, and also expressiveness of other symptoms connected from chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities or traumatic damage.
Venorutonum gel - the water gel which is not containing alcohol; it is easily soaked up, has no smell and does not leave fat spots.

Pharmacokinetics. At topical administration the main components of active agent quickly get through an epidermal barrier. In 30 minutes they are found in a derma, and in 2-5 hours - in a hypodermic fatty tissue. All methods of definition of concentration available now in blood of the main components of active agent at topical administration of gel are insufficiently sensitive.

Indications to use:

The pain and hypostases connected with chronic venous insufficiency; feeling of weight and onychalgia, puffiness of anklebones; pains after performing sclerosing therapy.
Pain and hypostases of traumatic genesis, including at sprains, stretchings or bruises of muscles.

Route of administration and doses:

To apply on the struck place in the morning and in the evening, softly rubbing before full absorption.
If necessary Venorutonum gel can be put under bandage or elastic stockings.

Side effects:

The skin reactions connected with hypersensitivity to drug.

Interaction with other medicines:

There are no rutosides given on interaction now.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to rutosides or to other components of drug. Pregnancy (I trimester).

Special instructions
If during drug use expressiveness of symptoms of a disease does not decrease, it is necessary to consult with the doctor.

Pregnancy and lactation.
In the researches conducted at animals undesirable impacts on a fruit were not noted; however controlled researches at pregnant women were not conducted. There is no need to observe special precautionary measures at purpose of drug in II and III trimesters of pregnancy or in the period of a lactation.

Overdose:

Clinical manifestations of overdose of Venorutonum in dosage forms gel or capsules are not described.

Storage conditions:

List B. At a temperature not above 30 °C, in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity of 5 years. Drug should not be used after expiration date of the period of validity specified on packaging.

On 40 g and 100 g in the aluminum tubas with an internal covering on the basis of epoxyphenolic pitch corked by a cap from polyethylene. Each tuba together with the application instruction is placed in a cardboard box.
