Loseprazol

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 10 mg of an omeprazol.

Pharmacological properties:

Omeprazol blocks the proton pump of covering cells of a mucous membrane of a stomach. Blocks both basal, and stimulated secretion of hydrochloric acid of a stomach irrespective of the irritant nature.

Indications to use:

Drug is intended for stopping of signs of a reflux (i.e. heartburn, throwing of acid contents of a stomach in a gullet). Adult patients can accept drug without recommendations of the doctor.

Route of administration and doses:

The recommended dosage for stopping of symptoms of a reflux (i.e. heartburn, throwing of acid contents of a stomach in a gullet): 10 — 20 mg once a day, for 14 days. As soon as symptoms completely disappear, it is necessary to finish treatment. It is recommended to accept capsules in the morning, to swallow entirely, washing down with a half of a glass of water; capsules are forbidden to be chewed or made small. The capsule can be opened and to stir content in water or moderately acid liquid, for example, fruit juice and to drink within 30 minutes. It is not recommended to use either milk, or sparkling water.

Features of use:

In case of alarm symptoms, such as considerable decrease in body weight for not clear reason, repeated vomiting, a dysphagy, a hematemesis or a melena, and at suspicion of stomach ulcer it is necessary to exclude malignant new growths as therapy can hide symptoms or postpone statement of the correct diagnosis. Omeprazol it is possible to appoint during pregnancy, drug gets into maternal milk, does not exert any impact on the child. At long reception (3 months) the hypomagnesiemia can develop. Lasting reception more than one year the risk of development of osteoporotichesky fractures of bones moderately increases.

Side effects:

Usually drug is well transferred. During treatment gastrointestinal frustration, such as a lock, diarrhea, nausea, skin allergic reaction, seldom a headache can be observed; in isolated cases dizziness and vision disorders (in case of emergence patients are recommended to refuse control of vehicles and service of mechanisms).

Interaction with other medicines:

During treatment omeprazoly elimination of drugs, biotranformirovanny can be slowed down by similar R-450 cytochrome (for example, diazepam, warfarin, Phenytoinum). Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. Omeprazol is impossible, as well as other inhibitors of the proton pump to appoint along with nelfinaviry, the combination with atazanaviry is not recommended.
