General characteristics. Structure:

Active component:
thyme grass extract liquid - 100,000 mg
Auxiliary components: sucrose, povidone, left menthol, cineol, acacias gum, stearic acid, silicon dioxide colloid, magnesium stearate. Description of active component: thyme grass extract liquid. (Thymus vulgaris L., this. Lamiaceae). A thyme grass ratio to extragent 1:2-2,5.
Extragent: solution of ammonia of 10%, glycerin of 85%, alcohol of ethyl 90% (about/about), water; in the ratio 1:20:70:109.

Description: round, slightly biconvex pastils of cream color with small impregnations.

Pharmacological properties:

Possesses expectorant and mucolytic action.

Indications to use:

The infectious and inflammatory diseases of upper respiratory tracts which are followed by cough with the hardly separated phlegm.

Route of administration and doses:

To adults and children 12 years are more senior it is necessary to rassasyvat in an oral cavity 1-2 pastils several times (to 3 times) in day. Children are from 6 to 12 years old - on 1 pastil 3 times a day. Duration of use of drug is defined by degree of manifestation of symptoms of a disease and its duration.

Features of use:

One pastil corresponds 0,07 GU (grain units) that needs to be considered a sick diabetes mellitus, and also to the persons which are on a hypocaloric diet.
In the absence of improvement of a state within 5 days it is necessary to consult with the doctor.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (skin rash, small tortoiseshell, Quincke's disease of the person and mucous membrane of an oral cavity and throat (Quincke's edema). In this case it is necessary to stop administration of drug and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

The concomitant use with antibechic drugs, and also with the medicines reducing formation of a phlegm as it complicates expectoration of the liquefied phlegm is not recommended.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity to drug components, chronic heart failure (in a decompensation stage), heavy abnormal liver functions and kidneys, children's age (up to 6 years).
Drug is not recommended to be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature below 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity: 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
