Бронхикум® With

General characteristics. Structure:

In 100 ml of syrup contains:
- active component: thyme grass extract liquid -  15 g; (a thyme grass ratio to extragent 1:2-2,5).
Extragent: solution of ammonia of 10% (weight/weight), глицерол 85%, ethanol of 90% (about/about), water - in
ratio 1:20:70:109;
- auxiliary components:
Natrium benzoicum, roses oil, fragrance honey, fragrance cherry (juice cherry concentrated), sugar syrup invert (sucrose, a dextrose, fructose), a dextrose liquid (glucose liquid), sugar syrup of 67% (sucrose), citric acid monohydrate, the water purified.

Description: transparent or with easy opalescence solution of henna-red color with a slight smell of honey.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug renders expectorant, antiinflammatory, broncholitic, antimicrobic action, promotes decrease in viscosity of a phlegm and acceleration of its evacuation.

Indications to use:

As an expectorant in complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tracts which are followed by cough with the hardly separated phlegm.

Route of administration and doses:

If the doctor did not appoint other mode of dosing, to adults and teenagers appoint inside
after food on the 2nd teaspoons of syrup (10 ml) 3 times a day;
children are from 6 to 12 years old - on 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day;
to children from 2 to 6 years - on 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2 times a day;
to children from 1 year to 2 years - on the V teaspoon (2,5 ml) 3 times a day;
children are from 6 to 12 months old - on the V teaspoon (2,5 ml) 2 times a day;
Cough syrup should be accepted at regular intervals within a day.
Duration of use of drug is defined by therapeutic need  and
lasting diseases.

Features of use:

Cough syrup Bronkhikum With contains 5,6 volume % of alcohol.
If improvement of a condition of the patient does not occur or in case of attacks of suffocation, a purulent phlegm, and also at temperature increase it is necessary to see a doctor immediately. Information for patients with a diabetes mellitus of 5 ml of syrup (about 1 teaspoon) there correspond 0,3 GU (grain units).

Side effects:

The following reactions are in rare instances possible:
allergic reactions: skin rash, small tortoiseshell, and also face edema and mucous oral cavity and throat (Quincke's edema).
from digestive tract: nausea, gastritis, dyspepsia.
In these cases, and also in case of development of any undesirable phenomena, е specified in the instruction, it is necessary to stop administration of drug and to see a doctor.

Interaction with other medicines:

The concomitant use with antibechic drugs, and also with the medicines reducing formation of a phlegm as it complicates expectoration of the liquefied phlegm is not recommended.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity to drug components, inborn intolerance of fructose, glyukozo-fructose malabsorption, insufficiency of enzymes of invertase and isomaltase, chronic heart failure (in a decompensation stage), heavy abnormal liver functions and kidneys, children's age (up to 6 months). Due to the content in alcohol drug syrup Bronkhikum With should not be used at alcoholics.
 
With care and only after consultation with the doctor patients should accept syrup with liver diseases, diseases and brain injuries, epilepsy.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
Drug is not recommended at pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Overdose:

It was not reported about cases of development of intoxication at reception of syrup for cough Bronkhikum S.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 3 years. Not to apply after a period of validity. After opening of a bottle cough syrup can be accepted within 3 months. At a temperature below 25 to °s.khranit in the place, unavailable to children.
