Витапрост® (suppositories)

General characteristics. Structure:

50 mg of the powder "Samprost" are a part of suppositories.

Pharmacological properties:

Витапрост® possesses organotropic action concerning a prostate. Reduces degree of hypostasis, leukocytic infiltration of a prostate, normalizes secretory function of epithelial cells, increases number of lecithin grains in a secret of an acinus, stimulates a muscle tone of a bladder. Reduces a thrombogenesis, improves microcirculation in a prostate, has antiagregantny activity, interferes with development of thrombosis of venules in a prostate.
 
On the basis of these clinical trials it is proved that Vitaprost® moderately reduces prostate volume. Drug reduces expressiveness of obstruction and irritativny symptomatology at a benign hyperplasia of a prostate that is expressed in increase in the maximum and average volume flow rates of urine and reduction of volume of a residual urine.
 
Витапрост® normalizes parameters of a prostate and ejaculate. Reduces the pain and discomfort caused by prostatitis, eliminates the dysuric phenomena, improves copulative function.

Indications to use:

Chronic prostatitis, states after operative measures on a prostate.

Route of administration and doses:

It is necessary to apply rectal suppositories after spontaneous emptying or a cleansing enema of intestines on 1 soup. 1 times/days. After administration of suppository the patient should be in a bed within 30-40 min.
 
Duration of a course of treatment Vitaprost® suppositories makes not less than 10 days. Duration of a course of treatment Vitaprost® suppositories Forte at a benign hyperplasia of a prostate - 15 days; at chronic prostatitis - 10 days.

Features of use:

The conducted additional clinical trials directed to assessment of extent of reduction of a pain syndrome as a result of treatment of chronic prostatitis by the drug Vitaprost® allowed to establish efficiency of drug at treatment of chronic abacterial prostatitis, first of all for reduction of a pain syndrome.
 
The drug Vitaprost® suppositories rectal can be recommended also as one of components of complex therapy of chronic prostatitis at patients of all age groups (including at a combination to a benign hyperplasia of a prostate), and also for rehabilitation of patients after the postponed acute prostatitis.
 
Treatment of chronic prostatitis, states before operative measures on a prostate has to be complex, assuming use of other groups of medicines and non-drug methods of treatment along with purpose of the tablets Vitaprost®.
 
The conducted clinical trials directed to drug Vitaprost® impact assessment on a spermatogenesis at patients with infertility, developed against the background of chronic prostatitis, allowed to establish positive influence of drug on a spermatogenesis. Витапрост® it can be recommended to patients with the secretory and toxic form of infertility which developed against the background of chronic prostatitis.

Side effects:

In rare instances allergic reactions in a drug injection site.

Contraindications:

Individual intolerance of drug.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the unavailable to children, dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 20 °C. A period of validity - 2 years.
