General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: тамсулосин.

Pharmacological properties:

The therapeutic effect is shown approximately in 2 weeks from an initiation of treatment. Ability to block α1B-адренорецепторы unstriated muscles of vessels therefore action on system the ABP is insignificant is much less expressed at a tamsulozin.

Pharmacokinetics. After intake тамсулозин it is quickly and almost completely soaked up from a GIT. After a single dose in 400 mkg of Cmax of active agent in plasma it is reached in 6 h. Linkng with proteins of plasma - 99%. Vd is insignificant and makes 0.2 l/kg. Tamsulozin is slowly metabolized in a liver with formation pharmacological of the active metabolites keeping high selectivity to α1A-адренорецепторам. Features of use:

With care apply at the patients inclined to arterial hypotension, at the expressed abnormal liver functions. Before therapy tamsuloziny, the patient has to be inspected regarding existence of other diseases which can cause the same symptoms, as well as a benign hyperplasia of a prostate. Before an initiation of treatment and regularly during therapy manual rectal inspection and if it is required, definition of a specific antigen of a prostate has to be carried out. With a renal failure of change of the mode of dosing it is not required from patients. Influence on ability to driving of motor transport and to control of mechanisms during treatment it is necessary to abstain from occupations potentially dangerous types of activity demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Side effects:

From cardiovascular system: seldom - dizziness, orthostatic hypotension, a heart consciousness. From TsNS: the headache, an adynamy are possible. From a reproductive system: seldom - a retrograde ejaculation.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of a tamsulozin with Cimetidinum some increase in concentration of a tamsulozin in a blood plasma, and with furosemide - decrease in concentration is noted; with others α1-адреноблокаторами - perhaps expressed strengthening of hypotensive effect. Diclofenac and indirect anticoagulants increase the speed of elimination of a tamsulozin a little. Diazepam, propranolol, трихлорметиазид, хлормадинон, amitriptyline, diclofenac, glibenclamide, симвастатин and warfarin do not change free fraction of a tamsulozin in plasma of the person of in vitro. In turn, тамсулозин also does not change free fractions of diazepam, propranolol, a trikhlormetiazid and hlormadinon. In the researches in vitro interaction at the level of hepatic metabolism with amitriptyline, salbutamol, glibenclamide and finasteridy was not revealed. Others α1-адреноблокаторы, acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, alprostadit, anesthetics, diuretics, a levodopa, antidepressants, beta adrenoblockers, blockers of slow calcium channels, muscle relaxants, nitrates and ethanol can increase expressiveness of hypotensive effect.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to a tamsulozin.
