General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 0,15 mg alpha глутамил - tryptophane sodium [тимоген® sodium] (in terms of an alpha glutamil - tryptophane), 12 mg ascorbic acid, 1,25 mg of Bendazolum a hydrochloride (Dibazolum).

Excipients: the sucrose, water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug is means of the etiotropic and immunostimulating therapy, possesses antiviral action concerning influenza viruses And yes In and other viruses causing acute respiratory viral diseases.

Bendazolum induces production of endogenous interferon in an organism, possesses immunomodulatory action (normalizes an immune response of an organism). Enzymes which production is induced by interferon in cells of various bodies inhibit replication of viruses.

Alpha глутамил - tryptophane (тимоген) is synergist of immunomodulatory action of Bendazolum, normalizing the T-cellular link of immunity.

Ascorbic acid activates a humoral link of immunity, normalizes permeability of capillaries, reducing thereby an inflammation, and shows antioxidant properties, neutralizing the oxygen radicals accompanying inflammatory process increases resistance of an organism to an infection.

Pharmacokinetics. At intake drug is completely soaked up from digestive tract. Bioavailability of Bendazolum - about 80%, alpha глутамил - tryptophane - no more than 15%, ascorbic acid - 90%. Metabolites of ascorbic acid and Bendazolum are removed with urine. Alpha глутамил - tryptophane under the influence of peptidases is split on L-glutaminic acid and L-tryptophane which are used by an organism in peptide synthesis.

Indications to use:

Prevention and complex therapy of flu and acute respiratory viral infections at children of one year.

Route of administration and doses:

Schemes of medical and preventive use are identical.

Inside in 30 min. prior to food.
To children aged from 1 up to 3 years - on 2 ml 3 times a day;
To children aged from 3 up to 6 years - on 4 ml 3 times a day;
To children aged from 6 up to 10 years - on 8 ml 3 times a day;
To children 10 years - on 12 ml 3 times a day are aged more senior.

Use course - 4 days. The preventive course is repeated if necessary in 3-4 weeks.

Features of use:

Pregnancy and lactation. During breastfeeding use is possible if the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for the child.

At repeated courses periodic control of level of glucose in blood is recommended.

Side effects:

Short-term lowering of arterial pressure. Allergic reactions are seldom possible: small tortoiseshell. In these cases use of drug is stopped and appoint a symptomatic treatment, antihistamines.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, a diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, children's age till 1 year.
